Magic Space is a different style of playground where parents can exercise on our fitness equipment or sit by the table on very comfortable bikes and kids can play or learn the fitness style on special designed equipment meant just for kids. We have an open-concept space approximately 3,450 square feet that includes the play equipment, inflatables, fitness equipment, and table area with a great view for parents to supervise all play areas. In 2015, Mariana Sipos had a four year old, a six year old and a desire to own a business. “I wanted to have my own company and one where I was able to bring my kids [to work]” says Mariana.  She decided an indoor playground would be a great fit and opened Magic Space.

She also wanted a place for moms to have some time for themselves, so she added a fitness area overlooking the playground. “Before we opened, we went to all the playgrounds around Edmonton,” says Mariana. “I was thinking, as a mother, I never had time for me. For me to spend a few hours at a gym instead of with my kids wasn’t fair to the kids. So I tried to combine both [activities] together so there’s something for the mothers and something for the kids to have fun and be together.”

The 5,000 square foot facility features many different climbing and jumping apparatus for toddlers to pre-teens. It’s located in the rapidly expanding suburb of Summerside. “It’s a growing area with brand new families,” says Mariana, who also lives in the neighbourhood.

Every part of Magic Space was designed and conceived by Mariana. She had to go through all the approvals and city regulations before opening, but seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces makes it all worthwhile. “They are having fun and the biggest compliment is when they come and tell you ‘I love this place.’ It means a lot and when people say they like it.”

    We have a couple Birthday Party there and it is a wonderful place. My kids always want we celebrate they Birthday party there because they have so much fun. I think is the best place to go and celebrate your kids Birthday! Truly Recommended!!!!!!!!

    First time at this place and very impressed! Thank you for great experience- place is amazingly clean, comfortable setting for kids and parents- parents burn their calories on excersise machines (6 to choose from) while kids burning their energy!!! Excellent food service and tasty pizzas (for those who does not watch their calories consumption). We will come again for sure! Thank you for great family time!

    Horrible communic...

    Horrible communication. Staff was rude and tried to kick us out before our time was up. Ruining everyone's mood. I Called to confirm twice just to make sure everything was going to run smoothly but they still came in and rudely told us we have to be out of the room that instant. The facility was way too packed for the amount of space there was. Overall a horrible experience and would not recommend it.

    We downgraded the party from gold to basic(as per requested) but the numbers of the children and adults arrived it was unchanged(too many guest from the party side).On the gold party we can accommodate 25 children but only 15 for basic/silver. On the other hand many of the guests were adults without children. One day before we were contacted to change the hours of the party. That is not possible in this type of business(everything is carefully scheduled to not overbook or overlap).Even in these conditions we allowed the party to have their party room a half an hour earlier but couldn't give her an extra time after the party in order to be able to clean and prepare the room for the next party. Nobody at Magic Space is permitted to be rude with the customers, everyone is polite at all times so we apologise even for the impression of that. We tried to explain and solve the situation and we are sorry we couldn't do better than that. Management

    Amazing prices on...

    Amazing prices on all food/snacks and great assortment to please even the pickiest of toddlers. Engaging equipment and toys for all ages (even a Velcro suit for adults!). Extremely clean and a friendly staff.

    Clean space with ...

    Clean space with lots to do for babies, toddlers and kids. I went with my 9 month old and she was free admission, I was $1. The only issues I have with this business is they require you to fill out an extensive waiver form on their tablet (which was surprisingly difficult and frustrating to use, a piece of paper would be much easier). I didn't feel it was necessary for them to collect the extend of information they wanted (example- driver's license). Food is well priced ($3 for grilled cheese with organic Turkey), however they do not allow outside food. I was unaware of this and was feeding my child some watermelon I packed and was told next time I couldn't. My daughter had fun here but I'm not sure I will return.

    Space thank you for being one of our first customers. Magic Space require to fill a waiver with some personal information mostly required by the insurance. Magic Space do not ask for the driver licence information. That line was optional, and because your opinion is important, that information was removed from the waiver completely . E-mail address is for e-mail receipt. Magic Space is a socks only facility for everybody, including adults, in order to prevent foot, hand to mouth disease and other disease that we are not aware we carry with us. Little children are playing so they need to be protected. Outside food is not allowed because of food contamination. These measure are meant to protect all of us and all indoor playground in North America use these policy. We do have some tables outside that can be used by people with special diets. Also Magic Space is proud to offer a large variety of products, from baby formula to fresh fruits and vegetables. Magic Space also try to use organic products as much possible and gluten free products etc. Please ask the front desk if you have any special requirement.
