I had heard of this place but hadnt been there until my last shift. Its easy to miss even though its on Franklin Avenue. I enjoyed their jigs dinner special; more than I could eat. It was deliciously fresh and as good as I have ever eaten. The bread pudding was different than I was used to back home. I certainly plan on returning this week, I didnt see the bakery until I went out the back entry. PM

Best Value in McMurray

I eat there once or twice a week. Breakfast is substantial and cooked to order. All other meals are great as well. I especially reccomend the panfried cod. 3 fillets perfectly done (not overdone like so many places). Service is good and gets better as the servers get to know you. The owner is on site and comes around to chat with customers. Often busy especially on the weekends so be prepared t wait a short while for a table.This restaurant is an great example of how a restaurant - and any small business- should be run.

Will not return

When food finally arrived it was lukewarm as if it was left waiting for the server to be picked up earlier. Coating on fish was soggy not crispy. The worst was the ladies bathroom as one toilet was plugged and garbage all over the floor and garbage can overflowing with towels. Washed hands and got out! Never to return. Server was pleasant and obviously swamped. She received no help from the girl seating the customers. No teamwork happening there. Very disappointed!
