Soon after the birth of her first child, Ashley Giordano came across the Hot Mama Health & Fitness website and was intrigued. “I was three months post-partum,” says Ashley, who was thinking about opening up her own fitness training business at the time. “I decided to go with Hot Mama because a) I have a passion for fitness and for helping people and b) having my daughter with me where she can see these healthy role models struck a big chord in my heart.”

That is the special attraction with Hot Mama Health & Fitness. It is designed for mothers to have a place to work out and still bring their kids along. “I didn’t want to leave her at the gym daycares,” says Ashley. “I didn’t know the people and I didn’t feel comfortable. So, for me to bring her, and for other moms to bring their kids and be a part of the community, was important.”

    As a mom with three little kids, I felt that becoming physically fit was impossible. I was struggling with anxiety one year postpartum and decided to give exercise a try. I was invited to a free Hot Mama class and that day changed my life. Within this incredible community, I have exercised consistently for almost a year and am feeling human again. Ashley encourages, builds up, teaches, challenges, and tells you to "find your reason". AND your kids get out and moving too! It's awesome!

    Basically, it's a boot camp style workout class where you can bring your minis along. If you have a wee baby, they can chill out on a blanket while you work out. If you have older kids, you can let them run around in the gym. The instructor, the amazing and inspiring Ashley, is a Mom too, so she gets it. Ashley kicks your butt, encourages you and will lend a helping hand to rock a fussy baby. Postpartum Mamas get two free classes a week for four consecutive weeks if they are eight to 16 weeks postpartum.
