Went to Great Canadian Oil Change in Lake Country for an oil change and they tried to upsell me and add a transmission fluid change (as well as a cabin and engine air filter change). They showed me two bottles of transmission fluid, one which was (presumably) mine and another with fresh fluid. Now, I just had my transmission fluid changed this summer (less than 20,000 km ago) so I knew I didnt need it changes. I honestly dont think that the fluid in the bottle that they showed m
We went here just before a New Years road trip, didn’t make it to Armstrong and had to pull over to check why our car was so loud, that’s when we realized they broke our hood opener , used to have the plastic lever and now the wire was exposed. Secondly my husband had to tighten all the caps under the hood and put the filter cover back on. We called in Jan and no one called us back, called back in February and we are still awaiting a response.
These small town guys are just awesome. If you want a good old fashioned experience go see them. I have been in 3 times this month and each time I have been very happy with the low key low tension work they do. If you want someone to fake a smile and deal with you like just another customer then go to kal tire where you are one of a million customers. These guys are young, and good, not going to stiff you like kal tire either. Good OLD FASHIONED GUYS.
DO NOT GET YOUR TIRES CHANGED OVER OR REPAIRED HERE. They did not even re-inflate my tires properly, and upon getting home, 1 was completely flat. I didn't see that as a major deal until I brought my car in to a better shop. They were surprised we even made it there. 2 lugs on 1 tire were completely loose and only kept on by the hubcap being in place. This was barely 100 km after having them installed. This was a major safety issue and is COMPLETELY unacceptable.
