Meet the owner

Ken Wood started Southside Automotive in 1994 after a lifetime of learning to love cars. From fixing up his parents' cars with his father to taking on his own apprenticeship, Ken can hardly even remember when his passion for everything automotive began. Since he's opened his own business, he has come to describe what sets his shop apart in one word: "honesty." He understands that people are looking for automotive solutions they can trust, at a fair price. When the business is upfront and the quality of work is backed by Ken himself, everybody walks away happy. "I just tell them the truth and what it's going to take," Ken says. "There's no shortcuts—you use shortcuts, there's going to be problems. We just do it the right way."

    I have used this shop times over the years and have always been very happy with the service and care I received. I believe they are honest with appraisals and work, and fair with prices. I once owned a FORD that had electrical issues, Ford dealership did not know how to fix their own vehicle. I brought it to Southside and they repaired it for me, no problems. I am very thankful I found them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
