Amazing buns BUT VERY DIRTY.. Been buying buns for over 15 years. This morning I saw the arrival of their delivery (probably from their main location in downtown Vancouver). While they were unloading the van, the delivery guy pinched one of the buns for no particular reason with his dirty work gloves -It left a black dirt mark on the bun. ALSO the same morning, while the lady was unloading the buns from the tray to their steam drawers, one of the buns fell and she picked it up; looked around to

New Town Bakery is famous for their steamed buns and apple tarts. I truly believe that there is no other bakery in Metro Vancouver which could compete with their apple tarts. A must for everyone who like sweets.

New Town has steamed buns and it's no surprise...
New Town has steamed buns and it's no surprise that this place is packed every time I go there to take food. Their other stuff is also really good like the apple tarts that people have mentioned. And if you like egg tarts, they sell ones as big as a pie! I've never sat down and eaten there so I can't comment on the service
