I always knew the restaurant was there and finally tried it. I did not realize it was located on the second level above their casual restaurant with such a great patio too. The service was very good, nice finer dining atmosphere. We both enjoyed our fish dishes, cooked perfectly. We would definitely return.

    Never Go

You go here for the view and the dockside atmosphere BUT they are very expensive and add obligatorys ervice (buts ervice is slow and uncorteous) and then they demand extra tip on top of the obligatory pre-added tip. Tipping is for service not for 15% additional to the price.

It’s hard to miss this iconic waterfront restaurant; in fact, you can spot the bright yellow building and patio umbrellas from the other side of the Granville Bridge. The scenic patio beckons hungry diners with its promise of gourmet pub fare and spectacular views of False Creek. The accessible bistro menu has a little something for everyone: thin-crust pizzas, burgers, fish and chips, and a number of tasty appetizers designed for sharing. If you’re in the mood to splurge, the New York strip loin and baked Nova Scotia lobster are both classic palate pleasers.

Vancouver’s top seafood restaurants for lobster

Vancouver’s top seafood restaurants for lobster

The setting at Bridges cannot be beat. Located at the tip of Granville Island, you can take in all the scenic bounty that Vancouver has to offer – the waterfront, city skyline, and the mountains – all right from your table. The lobster here isn’t overly fancy, but it's dependable, fresh from Nova Scotia and served with a creamy vegetable risotto and sage butter. Make sure to reserve, as this is a busy spot that’s popular with visiting tourists.
