Sweet spots for healthy baked goods in Vancouver

Sweet spots for healthy baked goods in Vancouver

You wouldn’t think a juice bar would win my praises for something as rich as a dark chocolate brownie ganache, but leave it to Glory to do just that. Made from raw organic cocoa, maple syrup and Spanish almonds, at $7 a pop, it’s not the most inexpensive of treats, but totally worth the splurge. For something lighter on the budget, their dates with nut butter totally deliver. Sweet and salty, they’ve combined roasted almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, pink Himalayan salt and coconut sugar, paired with low GI dates. Enjoy with house made raw almond milk and you’ll be in heaven.

Nutritious and delicious acai bowls in Vancouver

Nutritious and delicious acai bowls in Vancouver

Brimming with an array of colourful toppings, the frozen acai bowls at Glory Juice Co. are an Instagram dream, and they taste as good as they look. The menu features three different eye-catching bowls to choose from. The Tropical bowl features a frozen base of acai, mango, blueberries and seasonal juice topped with gluten-free granola, banana slices, bee pollen, and coconut nectar. The healthful Green bowl includes green juice and apple cider vinegar sprinkled with spirulina and goji berries. Finally, the Nuts bowl is a sweet and nutty blend of almond milk, nut butter, maple syrup and cacao nibs.
