Lost + Found Cafe gives you a space to day-dream about far-away places while sipping excellent coffee or a cup of Ranjana's chai. The vast space of Lost and Found is filled with local art, photographs from across the globe, and products made by NGO’s to benefit charity. Stylish and bohemian, the long room is an inspiring, uplifting location for a meeting. With square tables and upright chairs in the back of the café, and comfy couches at the front, it welcomes the formal and informal. Their flavour-packed food, including salads, wraps and baking, are reason enough to make yours a meeting over lunch.
There’s certainly no shortage of indie cafés in Gastown, but you can’t beat the atmosphere at Lost and Found. A spacious open-concept interior, cozy mismatched chairs, local artwork hanging on the walls, and shelves adorned with travel books make this hangout a relaxed spot for creative types to while away the day. The café’s signature granola includes hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds and oats toasted together with honey and vanilla. The house-made blend is served in a layered yogurt parfait with thick Greek yogurt, honey, dried apricots and cranberries.
Lost + Found is one of many indie coffee shops in Gastown, but it has its own distinct charm. The café focuses heavily on the Vancouver arts scene and supports a variety of local and international charities. There’s also a separate room that can be reserved for small private events.
