We quite often eat at the Slocan restaurant before heading to the Giants games. The food is quite good and the portions are a decent size for the price that you pay. There are 6 of us that eat here every time we go to the Giants games. The soups are very good and some on the menu, you can't get at other places. The turkey dinner is almost like eating at home, it's moist and tasty. One of us had the lasagna and it came with garlic bread. He said it was tasty, filling and he left nothing on the plate. Another of us had the Chicken Souvlaki.. It tasted as good as it looked and was a healthy portion. The steaks are a nice size and always cooked the way you order them. This time round, I had the Cheese burger, fries and burger for $10.99. It was good and you can't beat that price with a beer. For dessert we all had the fruit crumble. It's delicious and we all recommend you try that. All in all, it's a good place to eat and well priced meals. Thank you Slocan.. we'll be back all season long !!
