“My focus is giving things to gluten-intolerant people that they’ve really been missing,” says Delainy Mackie. Stepping inside The Gluten Free Epicurean in Mount Pleasant, you’ll discover a delectable showcase of freshly-baked savoury and sweet, gluten-free comfort foods, including many vegan options.

From a range of sweet indulgences such as apple fritters and vegan cinnamon buns, to delicious savoury comfort foods such as pizza and pot pies, these items match their gluten counterparts in both taste and texture. Not a day goes by when Delainy isn’t rewarded with an enthusiastic, “I can’t believe it’s gluten-free!” from her customers.

Using only high-quality ingredients, every item on offer is prepared by hand in a completely gluten-free and soy-free kitchen. In addition, Delainy strives to source organic, free-range and non-GMO foods as much as possible.
