Poor install did not warranty it

All Seasons has been in business for 18 years with two locations and prides itself in great service. We sell the manufacturers product and install it. If the product needs to be warranted, we talk to the manufacturer and they are the ones with the final say with regards to warranty. In most cases they are overly lenient but in some cases responsibility has to be taken by the consumer (not very often). We continue to try to make all of our customers experience a good experience.

Since having our rack installed all those years ago, the memory of the positive experience I had at All Seasons has prompted me to recommend your shop to so many people and I have heard nothing but good feedback from all of them. I purchased a Thule Boxster, it was a great price as I was looking around. I was referred by a local dealer raving about the service and quality gear. The staff were really helpful in suggesting the size of the crossbars, which saved me money as I would have had to buy another set if I did not come her for their excellent service. They showed me how to set it up and take it down. This is obviously a locally owned business with excellent trained and educated staff. I will be back and sending my friends.
What a mistake!!!! Went in for a brake controller and 7 pin install, fairly easy installation with a handful of wires to attach. I asked if they did a nice clean job, and of course they said they did. $400 later, I walk away and drive home, getting ready for my 7am trip to Vancouver. That morning, I start my truck and my interior/exterior lights are flashing. I had no choice but to make the 7am ferry, when I arrived in Vancouver, I called the shop immediately. Right away, they said there is no way it could be doing that, it must be the controller. Hard to believe, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I got back on Sunday, they were closed. I expected a call-back on Monday to see if the issue was still happening, but nothing. No call. I went into the shop on Tuesday, and they said they could fit me in on Monday the following week. No big deal, but I have to travel tomorrow Friday. I just went and opened my hood to check oil levels and to my surprise I see the poor workmanship. The main power cable right is on top of the exhaust pipe, melted right through. Loosely placed, thank God it did not catch on fire. I have contacted their main contact email, plus the guy who I was dealing with at the Gorge store. I am taking my vehicle in first thing in the AM to get fixed. I will post an update after I talk with the shop owner.
These guys claim to make "custom" roofracks. I told them what I wanted, gave them the base rack & the fellow who was going to build it said no problem he could do it.Then the boss stepped in told me what I wanted which was not at all what i wanted and how "he" would do it. That`s not custom,thats not what the sign says.The service was fine till this guy had to put in his 2cents worth. Money wasn`t an issue either as I was prepared to pay for custom unfortunatly the boss wouldn`t let his employee do his job. TA!TA!
I recently purchased a bike rack and hitch package from Colin and the guys at All Seasons Auto Racks. They have a good inventory from more basic options to more high end models with lots of bells and whistles. After they helped me choose the best product, they installed the hitch and Thule Bike rack within a couple of business days. Thanks guys. I am very happy with the new equipment and I'd recommend them to anyone in the market for auto racks and truck accessories.
