Shame on this company and their employees. Criminal charges should be pressed for discrimination! An audit for taxes and Canadian status should be done to keep this establishment up to Canadian standards!!!
Unprofessional service. I went a couple of times to get my eyebrows and nails done. Because I'm not white they asked me if I'm a canadian more than once. Also the owner and her ladies made fun of my eyebrows because they weren't thick enough. Would not recommend going there.
Worst nail salon experience ever. I got gel nails done for the first time. The guy was very aggressive that he filed and buffed my nail so thin that my actual nail started to hurt. The gel was sloppy and the colour on top was also sloppy. I had to remove the gel nails the same day because my nails were in extreme pain. I could not even touch anything with my fingers. The problem was the improper application of gel and over thinning. They did not refund me and were very rude and inconsiderate.
No star deserved. Unskilled, rude and unprofessional. The owner physically attacked a client when the client refused to pay 30.00 but gave her 20.00. I saw the job, I wouldn't have paid at all! They painted my cuticles. ..brutal work. RUN THE OTHER WAY!

Omg such a horrible experience. They were in a rush to finish my nails and I did not like how they turned out. First and last time going there !!!! Wouldn't recommend anyone to go there again !!!! Staff are rude , yelling at customers
I have been there at least 50 times for manicures, pedicures and Gels, I have never had any issues and they are always very sweet. I do think sometimes there is a language barrier which could prevent the customer from explaining what they want or them understanding exactly but they always try to fix if there are issues. Husband and wife owners are very hard working and are always there. Amazing massage chairs and you get an amazing leg/foot massage
I was at A1 Nails with a friend today and I got gel nails with sparkly white tips with a blue line as a design. First of all when the guy was doing my nails I noticed the tips had a yellowish tint on them. I asked if they would fix it and the lady said there not yellow but that she'll apply something to take the yellowish tint out, so I left it alone believing her. She then took over and told me I can trust her because I've been there before. Well she didn't do anything to help the situation she left my nails with the yellow tint on them. My friend also ask for her nails to be done a way she wanted them and the lady said no its to hard. Then I picked a blue color for the line I had as a design and she no I couldn't have that color of blue, so she put the blue that she picked and put it on. Afterwards I paid for my gel nails not happy at all and she charge me $40 and I of course didn't tip her because I wasn't happy with her service and that she did nothing to fix the yellowish tint and how she handled the situation, my friend who had just tips with no design, she charged her $45. I was so disappointed and I will never go there again! Never!!
Went there twice for gel nails
First time white tips were set way too low - thought - okay - stuff happens
then my nails under began to lift
When I returned for fill (had thought that maybe would get a different girl and things would improve) the lady was rude about washing my hands and then when I asked that the nails be thin to appear more natural she left them thick and when I asked again to thin them she made a minimal effort and said that they were fine. I know I wont be back a third time!!!!
