I’m happy to say I finally found the most perfect stylist for my type of hair. I’ve struggled with trusting people with my hair and letting people do anything to it and finally made this jump to come see Tracey. Not only did she explain everything she was doing and the benefits of it for my hair, she transformed my hair into something it hasn’t been since I was a child. I’ve never been so happy with my hair until today. She is so loving and the atmosphere is amazing. Highly suggest
After searching for many years for a true hair salon that makes you feel pampered and special I have finally found that at Making Waves Hair Design. Amy is incredible at what she does and is officially the only one permitted to touch my hair. I have always had problems with my hair and thanks to Amy I truely love my hair for the first time ever. The atmosphere is amazing. Tracy and Amy make you feel like a princess yet comfortable and relaxed all at the same time.
I've been going here for awhile now, and I don't like going anywhere else! Amy is friendly and fun and always knows exactly what I want for my hair. We have fun trying new styles and colours together and I always get so many compliments after I get my hair done. I definitely recommend going here and seeing Amy!
Tracey is beyond wonderful. She always fits me in despite my erratic schedule and I always leave thrilled with the results. She takes the time to understand exactly what I want and gives it to me exactly. Her salon is beautiful and she creates a very warm atmosphere. She's incredibly kind and talented. Every time I leave Making Waves Salon after having Tracey do my hair, I feel beautiful and get compliments non-stop about how great my hair looks. Tracey has been cutting and styling my hair for more than ten years and I find her to be professional and knowledgeable about each of her products and services. Tracey knows how to listen to me and pays attention to everything I ask for.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Making Waves Hair Design, Amy was very helpful while booking the apt and both Amy and Tracy were very friendly. I have very curly hair and was a little hesitant to get my hair cut by someone new, however Tracy did such a fabulous job I am absolutely thrilled. My hair is curlier than its ever been. I've been going to Tracey at Making Waves for 1 years and she is amazing! She is always consistent, she accomodates my budget when i need her too and her and her staff are so friendly it's like visiting your friends while getting your hair done. I would never go anywhere else for my hair!
I'm super happy that I discovered this Salon. I've never been to Making Waves and I was a bit nervous for my color/cut service but Tracey did a fantastic job. I was greeted immediately and I felt comfortable throughout the whole service. She listened to my needs carefully and gave me exactly what I wanted and she recommended products with full honesty. I can't wait for my next visit and it really does feel like home there. :)

She always remembers what's going on in my life and makes me feel at home even though I only see her 1 or 2 times a year. I believe she genuinely cares about her clients and their needs. Agony&Despair101-Dreadfull experience.I had my long hair bleached blond 4 $300+,when they washed my hair the sink had someone elses hair in it+all around the chair in knots,when i said so they just started washing my hair in it.They put my hair in a towel&bent my head over and just left me there as ppl saw and heard tons of water hitting the floor off my hair.very ignorent-no stars.shoddy service.
This review has only recently come to our attention, and thankfully now we can address this. We as a team have carefully reviewed our client files and appointment history and Fortunately have been unable to identify any client who fit this service profile or price comparison. We are proudly celebrating our twentieth year in business, and would not arrive at this milestone performing the type of services as stated in this review.
We welcome whoever wrote this review to please come forward and allow us the opportunity to address the accusations made. All of our clients are important to us, and have helped to build the foundation of our success. There is no reason said person would be handled any differently.

Great atmosphere,...
Great atmosphere, created by a great team. I have been going to Tarra for my cuts for years and always come out with 100% satisfaction. She is personable, friendly, outgoing, engaging, and above all keeps up with trends and styles to deliver an excellent cut each time. I have recommended to others and would have no hesitation to continue to do so!! The rest of the team who assists Tarra provides a great atmosphere as well which makes it more of a family feel than a formal business feeling!

Really nice welcoming place at Making Waves. Everyone there is kind and friendly. Tara is my stylist and she does an amazing job with my cut and color. It is hard to find someone who understands what I like.
Haven't been in for a treatment in far too long...it was like coming home! Tarra is fabulous and truly does listen and attend to what you say! Always an amazing experience and walk out feeling like a million bucks!!
Having really really fine hair, I am really careful in whom I choose to cut my hair, I have been going to Tracy at making waves for around 10 yrs. I have never had a bad hair cut, all the staff there are really friendly they know all their clients by name, as they greet you when you walk in the door, I always get comments on how nice my hair looks. The staff is very friendly and professional. I was new to the neighbourhood and felt very at home with them. Excellent service, excellent style. Can't imagine going to another salon. Their honesty is another fantastic trait!
