Best Greek food outside Greece!

The food is outstanding. Always tasty and 100% consistent. I eat there frequently and have always been impressed. Service is outstanding. Quick, friendly, and very upbeat. A great story on service: I ate there once or twice shortly after they opened, then moved out of the province for 2 years. On my first visit after 2 years away, the waitress said "welcome back stranger - are you having the usual?" She remembered the food and drink that I ordered 2 years previous!!! Now that is outstanding service!!!

Horrible Service

On a Friday night I ordered takeout. Something I will never likely do again. I was told my order would take 30-45 minutes. From the time I got off the phone until it arrived at my door it was 1hr and 25 minutes. I specifically told them on the phone which door to knock on. They knocked on the wrong door waking up my landlords newborn at 10:30 pm. I also asked if they could bring the debit machine , I was told sure not a problem. Guess what? He arrives at the door with no debit. I had ordered 2 cans of Pepsi. The delivery man told me he did not have my cans of Pepsi, he took off $2 off my bill, which means I still paid about $1 for something I did not receive. I had asked for no tomato's on my salad but surprise there was. There was rice all over in the take out bag as well as crumpled napkins. (I have included a picture of this) So I paid $26 for food disgustingly cold, thrown in the bag and thirsty, not made correctly, couldn't pay for it the way i asked, annoyed landlords, and ridiculously late. I then called the restaurant she told me they couldnt do anything and I had to call the next day. I called the manager next day and was told she couldnt do anything and that once it was out of kitchen they couldnt do anything. ( which doesnt explain salad or pepsi). She gave me owners number and said I had to wait till Monday. I called Monday left a message, and have kept calling with no response as of yet. I then e-mailed getting a response that it would be passed on to owners. Two months later and not a response. I will definately not be going back to this restaurant nor will I be recommending Mama Soula's.

Best Greek food outside of my kitchen:)

Portions = bountiful attention to detail: wicked courtesy toward my children, spouse, myself, and guests: superlative pitfalls: sometimes parking lot is full! AND they do not have the "feast" often enough!

No customer service.

My first visit to Mama Soulas was quite a memorable experience but unfortunately not a good one. We started with the calamari. It was brown and stiff not light and delicate. All I could taste was burnt batter as it was over cooked. The presentation of my dinner did not look appetizing. My lamb was was grossly overcooked, dry and bitter in taste. My cauliflower was raw, the broccoli was yellow and should had been thrown out last week. When asked how my dinner was, I explained that it was not good at all. The waitress's only reply was " well next time you should order something different". So for $25, I ate potatoes. She later return and stated " I can't take anything off the bill but I can offer a free dessert." I didn't ask for a reduction in the bill or a free dessert (which I didn't take). What I wanted was a dinner that tasted good. Unfortunately that was not offered. Needless to say, there won't be a next time.
