Trustworthy, honest, fun to be around, hard working, fantastic end-result - no cutting of corners. Also, all people he contracted to do work (water drainage around the house, electrical, etc) were respectful, very pleasant to deal with, efficient and did excellent work. This contractor is an artist. I would highly recommend him.
If I could give more stars, I would! I recently purchased an old house for my mother and for an incredibly reasonable price, Jamie and his team transformed it from a ramshackled looking house into a beautiful home for my mother to live in. They were great to work with. Upfront and honest about costs. They were looking for ways to save me money and made sensible recommendations. They were adaptable and the workmanship was wonderful! I am very satisfied and will use them again.
Jamie Gillis and his team were absolutely brilliant and knowledgeable with the construction of our back yard deck. He mad suggestions that we included in the plans that made the project that much better. The quality of workmanship and durability of the deck we will be enjoying it for a long time, I would recommend him to any of my friends or family members without hesitation.
Jamie was one of the few contractors who even bothered to respond to my emailed request for an estimate on a project I had at my home in Dartmouth. It involved reconnecting a deck, replacing the stairs and repairing a section of framing and siding at the rear of my house that had deteriorated from water damage.
Jamie and his crew were professional, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and trustworthy in every respect.
They were a pleasure to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
My basement flooded, was unhappy with the contractor the insurance company hired, so I settled with the insurance company (I didn't even know you could do this). I asked Jamie to give me a quote on a total basement reno and I hired him. My wife and I are very pleased with the work Jamie and his guys did! Not only do they do great work but they make suggestions and have good ideas. I have used Jamie for several jobs now and am always pleased with the end result! I would recommend him to anyone.
