Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at McReilly's many times over the years and the food, service and atmosphere is consistently good. Have eaten at some of the other pubs in Barrie, and although the food may be marginally better, they don't have the consistency that McReilly's does.
McReilly's has always been my favorite in Barrie. Food has always been excellent and it's always a comfortable atmosphere.
Every time is an enjoyable experience whether it's for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks!
I've never had a bad meal yet.. food always tastes fresh and is served in generous portions.
We visit here often. The food is great! Went the first time based on reviews and go back quite often. We enjoy the live music on Saturdays. Love the atmosphere.
Our only complaint is the waitress we always seem to get. She's a brunette and works most Saturdays. We usually sit at the back and get her. Last time we sat at the front thinking we'd get someone else - no luck!
I find her to be one of the worst waitresses I have ever had. She has seen us regularly and still never improves her service. We now refuse to tip her anything worth of value.
We went on a weeknight once (had company in from out of town) and was served by a lovely blond yound lady. She was great!

Awesome pub. My coworkers and I have guests come from out of town about once a month, and this is our go to place. The food is fantastic and most of the time the servers are great (occasionally service can be a tad slow, but we are usually rushed as well). Everyone we bring here comments on how much food you get and how yummy it is. Considering we used to bring our guests somewhere else (I won't say where because they can't hold a candle to McReilly's) and we've never been back to the other place.....
This pub deserves perfect 10's, they have the best wings and food for miles around, and the waitresses are smokin' hot to boot! I didn't expect such a good cut of roast beef from a pub! I was there with some buddies for New Years, we had to wait a bit cause it was packed full, but this place is fantastic and worth it. There was a solo acoustic dude playing Johnny Cash and other cool tunes, that was great fun! I had a great time, this is definetely a top choice for great food and service in Barrie, check it out.
i am there all the time; most of the time 6 of us. we always have the wings since it can be one of the best in barrie. i find out it is true sometimes that the waitess could be a little rude; about the slow part: it is always happening... but over all. that place is one of my wings place.
The food was amazing however the server was awful. She was very rude and slow. She made you feel unwelcome and as if you were inconviencing her by being there.

I went to watch the Leafs play on Saturday and I had an unbelievable time! The game was on all five TV's including the plasma, as it should be, and the food and service was astounding as usual.
Great looking staff with awesome attitudes, I got my food and drink quick and it sure hit the spot!
I can't say enough about the food here, from traditional Pub Fare to traditional Greek/Irish/Amazing dishes; McReilly's is probably the best place to eat in Barrie! See you there!

i love this bar..not only does it have the best pub food in barrie..the atmosphere is great!! service is always fast and friendly.. def. try the pizza and the greek dish both r awesome..they have so many kinds of beer you can never get sick of just one!! try it out you wont be disapointed!!

Always excellent food here. The service is great and so is the atmosphere. They have a huge selection of pub favourites - every one we've tried has been excellent.
We found the atmosphere good, the staff very friendly and the food fantastic. It doesn't matter what you order, the food is great and reasonably priced. Our recommendation...chicken souvelka (sp) with greek salad and it comes with rice...which is amazing.
I am now a frequent patron of this pub. I have enjoyed a few of the different meals on their menu now, and found the portion to be good, and the quality very good. Their selection of beer on tap or bottle is differnt from the average fare you run into in most places and provides a good selection on hand. THe service has alway been outstanding. Friendly staff that truly care whether you have a good experience. AS a place to meet friends and share pint, this is one of Barrie's better little stops.
