Food was fantastic but again server was cold, no smile, no refill on our drinks, no asking how we were or how our meal was. Here is your bill. Customer service is just as important as my meal, that was my last try, I search for friendly and warm servers.
Not only the best breakfast in the area, but the best value. (Especially if you are a senior.) 2 good sized eggs, 4 strips of bacon, texas toast and home-fires not frozen cubes. I get a side of hot peppers and coffee. For two of us .... just over $11.00 with tax!! (If you aren't a senior it would come to around $12.50)
Never had a problem with any of the waitresses. Food is cooked properly. Atmosphere is the usual R&R diner that plays a good selection of 50's & '60's music.
You can go a few blocks away and pay $16 for a lot less!
We drive past half a dozen breakfast joints that we have tried in the past to have breakfast here. (often)
Imagine, you are in a party of six people which includes 1 infant that you are carrying. There are 2 sets of couples waiting for a seat ahead of you. A table for six opens up and they give it to one couple. the other table for six opens up and they give it to the other couple. a table for two opens up and they say oh there is 6 of you there, i guess you will have to wait. The funny thing is while talking to the manager there, we were told first come first serve but yet they were going to start filling seats with the people behind us just walking in when we had already been there for over 30 minutes waiting.... We asked if she could possibly ask one of the couples to relocate to the open 4 seat booths to which we were told they don't do that to thier customers. After all they hadn't been served as much as a coffee so it would be too hard for them to relocate themselves to another booth.
We would have easily spent about $70 there but turned around and walked out as well as 2 parties behind us that were completely sickened by the entire thing.

Although she didn't complain, she didn't seem impressed. After she brought our meals, we never saw her again until it was time to bring us the bill. She didn't even ask if we wanted our meals on one bill or separated. All in all her demeanor was very cold.

A good restaurant that seems to have a good value for what you get. Service tends to be a bit shady at times but generally speaking a good place to eat.
I would never go back due to the fact that our food was not cooked properly and that they gave us the wrong order. My sister had a chicken burger which was not even cooked fully, it was still all pink and flabby on the inside! my dad ordered a burger which looked like it had been played catch with, and after all that they gave us fries instead of salad. Wasnt very happy at all.
