This is the best little neighbourhood bar in Brampton. It reminds me of Cheers where everyone knows your name, etc. Always friendly faces and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Great place to hang out or wind down after a long day.
I've gone to Oscars quite a few times and its a great place, Their weekly keraoke is great and home style cooking really is a cherry on the top! Anythiing you may order is great value for your money and will have your mouth watering. Aswell theres a waitress there.. a brunette thats kind of heavy set and I always try to get her to serve my table when I go, shes like a ray of sunshine orsomething and she is so good with makeing sure everyone is happy :) Trivia on the tv's and great people make this one of m favourite hang outs! Also if youre a fan of great cheesecake youhave to try their turtles cheese cake! its brilliant! ;)
After holding out for a long time I finally visited Oscar's. The food was clearly home made and was so good. I am huge fan of chicken fingers and fries and have had them at many places but Oscar's are my favourites. The fries are delicious and the chicken fingers couldn't be any cripser or moister, sooo good. My party had other items that looked great but on repeat visits I just couldn't try them the chicken fingers and fries were too good to pass up. Writing this review actually has me craving Oscar's, perhaps a trip there for lunch. Seriously, I'm going off track but go to Oscar's. I want to check out Sunday night karaoke as long as I can get some chicken fingers, fries and their delicious gravy. Staff is very friendly too, but could be a bit more attentive to customer needs. I think it may just have been understaffed the one night.
Steak was good value for price ($10 on Thursday).
But forget the service... abysmal. Sat on patio, had to clear our own table, waited 15 minutes for service person, then they forgot our drinks. Went inside to inquire and she was reading the newspaper!
Never again.
WOW what a friendly place. The bartender was so engaging. I think her name was Janet or Janis, something like that. She was great, she actually involved me in the conversation around the bar, it was great. Would not go there for a meal with the family, but could go there for a few beers .
Great food and great service. Regulars at the bar can be a bit vulgar. If you can get past that and get their early enough (before they get going) the atmosphere is good too.

Food was amazing, I mean incredible, Fries are the best I ever had, Saw a band called Table 13 when we were there, they were just as incredible. Go Go Go you will not be dissapointed!!!

Second time there for lunch. The bartender knows the locals names, the good is very plentiful and delicious. Its pub style so don't go for the fine dining but rather a nice place to hang out.
One of the last real pubs in Brampton... lotsa wood, big stand-up bar, cosy booths. Service excellent ~ thanks, Mimi! Food can be touch and go, depending on who's cooking. Usually no complaints, and the size of the orders are ample. Best rib deal in town on Saturdays and 1/2 price stip loin steak Thursdays nites is excellent too. Regulars a little too loud and vulgar at bar, and the t.v. sets are pathetic. Would return again for food and service, the ambiance leaves a little something to be desired ~ truckers and cougars.
