First time experience with Red Lobster was the busiest time of the year for restaurants, (mother's day). My family talked about eating at Red Lobster, so my husband decided to surprise me for mother's day. We arrived, only to see a line up as long as a black Friday sale. I asked about the wait time, was told four hours . Immediately I went through the door and suggested that we go somewhere else, but hubby insisted it will worth the wait. This restaurant use to be my favorite place to eat... but over the years the food quality has went down drastically and I haven't returned in a while.
The waitress/waiters aren't friendly, and they take forever to take drink orders, and once you do actually order your meal, don't expect them to check on you again until your food has come out which in most cases takes quite a mass amount of time.
If I want to go to Red Lobster again I will definitely seek out one in mississauga and see how their service is compared to Brampton
Arrived on a Saturday night, was packed, waited 45 minutes for a table. Staff were nice enough. Finally got seated, server was pretty nice, but seemed either bored or tired. Food was a bit disappointing, especially for the price! Overall an ok experience.
We were seated and left to wait until we were really upset and asked one of the servers if we could get drinks (this was after waiting 20 minutes at the table and being ignored by every waitress that walked by). When we finally did get a waitress, she was very sorry and our food came along quite quickly. Poor decor. Will not go to this location again.
This was a lunch visit on a Saturday.
Our threesome had Caesar Salad, Stuffed Sole and Arctic Char (fresh fish menu). Coffees finished it off.
The service was terrific... thanks to our server... Tammie. The Kitchen supervisor 'Charm' stopped by our table for a few pleasant worrds. She really lives up to her name. What a friendly person.
The food was very good. My Arctic Char was excellent (wood burning grill).

I was very disappointed with this place. The charge so much and what they bring you on the plate is not worth it at all! First of all it doesn't even look apetizing. We had to wait for 1/2 hour just to be seated, the menu looked great. What you actually order looks bland and shrivelled and the portion size are ridiculous. Don't buy into the hype, save your money and go to a real authentic seafood resteaurant.

I never have a bad experience when visiting this restaurant. I love seafood and save this for special occasions. Usually when celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. It has a great assortment of sea food and their desserts (if one has any room) are amazing.
The servers are always courteous and we are well taken care of. I do miss their bottomless buckets of crab but still love this place.

We always enjoy going to Red Loster and the kids love it. This time my son forgot a gameboy d/s. I called 3 weeks later by narrowing down where it was and thought of the restaurant. They still had it and told me to come and pick it up! That is just great. They could of gotten rid of it but they didn't and made my son want to go back more and more he was thrilled. Thanks Red Lobster!
I took my husband here for Father's Day. What a mistake! The buns were dry, the ceasar salads were soggy. My husband ordered the grilled salmon w/fettucine alfredo, the salmon was thrown on the grill with no spices, the fettucine was drowing in butter and the alfredo sauce was globby. Real gross, my husband couldn't eat it. I had the Muau Luau Salmon, the salmon was pretty good, the rice was bland, the shrimp were rubbery and a huge slab of grilled pineapple slice wasn't bad but I had to stop eating it as it was so overpowering.
The kids meal were the highlight of the evening! The service was very good, Monique was a great waitress but the service didn't make up for the food!!!

The service was a bit slow this time, and the coffee refill was very slow in coming. It wasn't a busy time either. But this happens every once in a while with any restaurant and it will not deter us making a return visit.
Food was decent. The employees were not very loyal. Telling us all about how corporate doesn't know what they want to do. While we were eating, two different employees were sweeping the carpets 2 tables away. It was anoying and not exceptable, eating while others clean under your nose.

I don't know how the other reviewers can possibly rate this run-of-the-mill, franchise restaurant so high. The food (and I won't use the word seafood, because this food hasn't seen an ocean or lake in an eternity...) is so below average it is lost in the depths of apathy. The stuffed sole was an overcooked, soggy, tasteless and thoroughly unappetizing pile of recently unfrozen garbage. Crab cakes? You've got to be kidding... tasted like canned tuna fish held together with stale breadcrumbs. My "garden" salad consisted mainly of brown head lettuce with a miniscule amount of balsamic dressing. The caeser salad was just as bad. Broccoli mush and frozen carrots served as vegetables. The plates are gargantuan (I don't know how the servers can manage ~ it must be like lifting weights all night!) but it only means there is a biggar pile of slop to be disappointed by. The salt/pepper shakers are a joke ~ how Red Lobster expects seniors, or those with arthritic hands, to manage these ridiculous condiments completely baffles me. The Only redeeming feature were the small dinner buns, and the chicken appeared to be acceptable. By contrast, Maya the waitress was a ray of sunshine and certainly one of the best servers I've had the pleasure of meeting ~ the only redeeming feature in an otherwise wasted evening. They should pay their customers to eat there, and even then I wouldn't go back.

the reservation option.

I would have to say the service alone would make us come back to this restaurant, They have got to be the best servers we have ever had, they were knowledgeable and attentive and knew the menu well. I also came back later that week after bridemaid dress fittings with our bridal party and again excellent service. The girls all commented that they had never seen such good service.Keep up the excellent work.
AMAZING FOOD.. they really treat u good everything served with salad soup n their amazing bread...u get enough food won't be left dissatisfied ...absolutley amazing food it's pretty expesnive but defenetley worth the money

overpriced, gross "seafood" my kid's wouldn't even eat the popcorn shrimp (and they love shrimp) i tried it and wouldn't feed it to my pet. Very painful to pay the bill at the end of the meal.
