Anyone who has eaten at really FAIR or better yet good Tai restaurant cannot truly say Thai Express is worth the money or effort. Most tai restaurants have lunch specials and well is very worth the flavour and freshness. Thai Express is a fast food chain and is not a true restaurant as they are in malls or plazas as far as I know. I tried eating tai express numerous times and was only fairly satisfied, and always left disappointed(salty). When people state they like tai express, usually they state, right after my disgust, that they never eaten tai anywhere else or before.
Their curries and General Thai are always excellent; the sauces are flavorful with a level of spice nicely in line with what you request, and the meat is of great quality. Portions are substantial, you definitely get your money's worth. Probably not the healthiest food, but then I don't expect it to be. All in all, it's one of the top places to grab a quick bite while out shopping if Thai is your thing.
I used to be smitten with this place but on my most recent visit I was a bit disappointed. The usually fantastic flavour of my pad thai was extremely lacking -- not nearly up to its usual standards. I've given this an 8 as a good middle ground because the food is normally practically perfect, but occasionally a bit disappointing.
Great food, I eat there a lot. Service is a little slow when it's busy. They NEED nutritional information. No one seems to know if this stuff is good or bad for you.

The food is incredible. The only issue I have is the lack of nutritional information. Nothing on their site, I asked them in person and they said they didn't. I thought all restaurants were supposed to but I guess I'm wrong. Unfortunately I have a good feeling it's unhealthy especially when comparable recipes online have 138% of your daily intake of sodium alone, fat and cholesterol is high too. Until I see the true numbers from this place I will choose to be ignorant and keep going back. It's that good.

I love their Vegetable Pad Thai! I have been to the restaurant at least a couple of times a month for the last year.
The only drawback,when going there on your lunch break, is the wait; there's usually a line up, so try to get there before the lunch rush.
The portions are huge! I'm hoping that they will soon start posting nutrition information for their dishes!

I definitely recommend the General Thai Chicken, delicious but it's kind of HOT so wait a while before you take a bite.
I'm not really a huge fan of the pad noodles, the chicken was kind of chewy, but you can actually add nuts if you like.
The service is great, many people on staff, and you can tell they try their best, on some days they even have a policy where if your not given a receipt you food is free.
And the packaging is super cute with a black and green Chinese take out carton with a metal handle, I feel so sheek holding it.
Awesome price, and you'll even have leftovers to take home.

Lots of food. It was enough fo two meals so get it to go...you won't be able to finish it all.
I got my meal to go and fell in love with the take-out packaging. So funky and hip. I felt spoiled.

The service was great. Friendly with lots of smile and ease. The chef was awesome.

Thai express is an amazing place to eat. Especially their chicken pad thai. If you get it spicy it blows your mind. It is fantastic and I have been eating it almost everyday.
