We heard a lot about San Frano's so we decided to give it a try. It is a family run business and it has been open for many years. It is only a take-out place; there are benches but those are only for customers to wait for the food. I liked how they had books and magazines on the tables, it made the atmosphere feel cozy! The food came pretty quickly, within at least 7 minutes. When we brought it home and tasted it, we both agreed that the food was great! The burgers were well-cooked and the french fries were good, not too crispy but not too soggy either, just right. The service was also very courteous and kind. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger, you won't be disappointed!
All I can say is WOW! I went to San Franos a couple of weeks ago, and it was amazing. I took my parents this time, and they loved it too. It's SO cheap, and the burgers are huge. I'm extremely picky about hamburgers, the only place I could stand was Harveys..until now! I definitely reccomend this place to everyone. PS: THEY HAVE DEBIT NOW!!!
This restaurant is as good today as it was 10 years ago! It's a no-fuss take-out place...the decor is still the same as 10 years ago, but the food is tasty and affordable, with free gravy!
I always order the same thing....once i tried a chocolate milkshake and was disappointed by the lack of chocolate flavour..however I will continue to go here for the price and the food: great hamburgers and tasty fries. (they do need debit though...not everyone has cash on them...but most people usually carry their bank card).
brantford clearly has the best burgers for one reason, SANFRANO'S!!!!!!!!!!!!where else can you get a real quarter pound burg with back bacon and cheese cooked right infront of you? they do not have debit but i had to wait 5 minutes for my food to cook so i ran across the street to take out money, not a big deal. i heard great things about their stakes, i can't wait to try them. BEST BURGERS IN THE WORLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. service was excellent also, everyone said please and thank you, and when my order was ready they thanked me very much, this place is all heart.
San Frano's is great and is a staple in Brantford. The Canadian back bacon on the special burg is unique and you can't seem to find it anywhere else.
Scrambling to use the ATM at Macs across the road was a bit annoying.

My Dad said if can eat a whole San Frano MAN BURGER then I must be a man! I had to work at it but finished it. I couldn't finish the fries though. I saved the milk shake till later. Man that was a big burger. I can't wait until we go back again.

Heard they had great burgers, so went to check it out, but like many places in Brantford, we were sorely disappointed.. they don't even have real bacon, only that funny stuff; still will be going to Dundas for our burgers!
The food here is always great. The hamburgers are a refreshing change to the assembly line style you get from the big conglomerates.
One suggestion, quit being so cheap about a debit machine. Any business that refuses to stray from the "cash only" model makes you wonder.
I love this place! Always fresh, quality ingrediants. Very tasty and well priced. The chocolate shakes are one of the best around. Always friendly service.
NOTE: Bring cash, as they do not have debit.
