The atmosphere,the food,the service was wonderful, everything at Indars met my expectations and It was my brother Damian that recommended Indars to me. I am celebrating my 50th birthday on the 12th of May and I am giving Indars my business.
I ordered 10 doubles and one goat roti. After waiting ova half hour I only got 10 doubles and was told I did not pay for the goat roti. My total bill was approximately $27 Persons who came after me got their order before me, and wen I ask I was told dey go by order being placed. So beside being over charged I had a very long wait. And was still denied the goat roti because dats the price for 10 doubles. $27 I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND MY FRIENDS TO GO THERE.
Food was delicious. The owner was friendly and accomodating. Excellent service. Food taste like you have cooked it in your kitchen. Excellent value for your money

I have recommended Lena's to several of my friends and family. At first they thought it was too far to travel as they live in Pickering and London, Ontario. After they got there they told me the food was really worth the trip.
It is the best caribbean restaurant i have been to in Canada. Please try the curry duck, it taste close to or better than a duck you cook near the river....delicious!!!
This is by far the best west indian restaurant EVER! Any one who does not go to Lena's once and come back is absolutely out of their mind-the food is so delicious-i used to make my wife cook her tasty home cooked meals for me everyday-but since I started going to Lena's last year, thats the only food I've ever wanted to eat! And their service is amazing-they are always so busy but find time to be friendly and efficient-and talk about a clean place! I've been to two other roti shops across the street-not a very clean or friendly place-although their prices are a bit cheaper-their food and service bites-LENAS IS THE BEST!
Although the atmosphere was calm and the music was soothing, my visit to Lena's was not very pleasant. The gentleman who took my order and eventually gave it to me was very cold and not very friendly. When I did get my food, my roti was not fresh, it was almost hard and the meat wasn't savoury. The doubles were good, very good chutney that went with them, and the pholourie was tasty as well, then again, when isn't pholourie tasty?

I went to Lena's on Mother's day to treat my mom to a traditional Trinidadian breakfast. Man were they busy! Although they were busy, they were very efficent and the breakfast buffet was delicious. They had the best customer service out of any roti shop I had been to. The girl at the frong was very friendly, and I believe the guy that was her dad made sure all my needs were met. I have never seen such a clean restaurant, and I'm glad the original Lena's is back!
Their food is the best Caribbean restaurant available. No other place can touch the excellent dhalpourri and paratha rotis they make. The food is not oily, very tasty and the atmosphere makes you feel like yuh home. Strongly recommend this restaurant. Now that the original Lena's owners are back, the food is even better. Unfortunately no BBQ :(
However their customer service is second to none - friendly and very courteous!!!
