Ares Family Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. This establishment cooks hamburgers for 11$ to 25$. They are open after-hours all week. You can get there by car. Payments by MasterCard, American Express and Visa are recognized.
We normally get good service when we go to this restaurant. But when a large group of kids came in with their parents the service when downhill. If the restaurant did their homework it was a PA days for the area schools. They were under staffed and there was more running around happening vs servicing the customers. People were walking out, leaving before they sat down and I don’t think that any of the Wait staff noticed or cared. When I paid for my Breakfast there wasn’t even a thank you, sorry for the delay. Actually the person just put through the transaction on the cash register and didn’t say a word.
This is a wonderful quiet place to meet your friends or family. The deco is not intimidating at all and the price is always on budget. The owner is well known for her humanitarian efforts and spends numerous hours helping the less fortunate, without looking for credit. Because I know this, I fully support her restaurant while chowing down on the best budget friendly and quality breakfast in town!!!
I have been a regular patron of Ares Family Restaurant in Georgetown for a number of years now. It remains my favorite place to dine, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food is always the best quality, served fresh and hot, and ample servings. The prices are very reasonable, with the breakfast special deal being the best in town. The servers are attentive and pleasant, and the venue is always clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the experience!
Great spot for breakfast, the rest of the menu looked good too. The place was totally packed, and it was just a regular Sunday morning. Would go again. Service was fine, considering the amount of diners.
No Greek salad? Fatty meat pieces? When did Italian and Greek dressing become the same? Bland flavour followed by a stomach tightening effect. Not sick persay but not well either. Pleasant service. food sat in pool of some sort of liquid on plate.

We live in Georgetown but even if we didn't, the authentic greek food and wide variety of home-made dishes at this restaurant are worth the trip! The decor and service definitely need some work but the delicious food and ridiculously low prices make you forget all about that!
Try it! It's a great little place just off the main drag in Georgetown, that you'll only hear about from the locals!
The food is great but the service can use some improvement especially when there are a lot of people. It took FOR EVER to get my coffee. AND THATS ALL I ORDERED!!!!!
