They left the flavour in the Bronx

I find all of the food at East Side's bland and tasteless. Typical corporate chain, everything tastes frozen. As for the service, the staff is trained to be drones towing the company line. Don't expect much.

Too many flies

I really enjoy East side Mario's regularly. They usually have a good selection of food, a nice ambiance and speedy service. However, last time i went was during patio season and the amount of flies lying around our indoor table was just awful. I was definitely not impressed.

We were very disappointed with our visit this...

We were very disappointed with our visit this time. We got one small loaf of bread for nine people - although we were told that the waitress would be back with more bread, she never did materialize. One of our party ordered seafood pasta and got one shrimp. Another person ordered a vegetarian pizza and got a pizza with pepperoni on it. Another person's bill was incorrect with items that he did not purchase. We had to wait to get the waitress's attention. I don't remember this restaurant having such poor service. I think we will have to reconsider where we go on our next outing.

Late lunch early dinner. Food so so, now I know I...

Late lunch early dinner. Food so so, now I know I can copy this at home, just go to the store and buy it of the shelf and microwave it. Too bad server is not well educated on the menu. It might have change my mind on revisiting. Every time we had a question, she disappear and return with an answer. Overall food was hot, thank god, but vegetables on the chicken dish looked microwaved and the chicken looked deep fried. Is microwaving ribs a standard practice too? Not to many staff on duty either. Desserts are from frozen. My advise, if you are going to go out and spend money on a meal, you might as well go to a place that is in the business of food, real food.

The restaurant is the best East Side Marios I...

The restaurant is the best East Side Marios I have ever been to. The staff are all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. The bartender Sara was a sweetheart, always smiling, very attentive, speedy and making the overall experience a great one (which was impressive because she told us it was only her second day on the bar) I would recommend this restaurant over any other east side marios (or even similar style restaurants for that matter)in the region for sure...much better food quality and GREAT staff! A wonderful experience...

You think you cant go wrong when you order a...

You think you cant go wrong when you order a plate nachos...well think again!!!!! To start off the nachos were cold, and the toppings...what toppings? there were none! 3/4 of the plate was nacho chips with no toppings. I also ordered Garlic cheese bread, but I dont think they understand the meaning of CHEESE....there was none.

food was not cooked properly, waiter did nothing about and wasn't even able to come to the table after the food was served to see how it was. When we showed him the pasta dish was not good and full of liquid water he offered to drain the water off of it.
