    Last Sunday, I or...

    Last Sunday, I ordered $115.00 worth of food, special for "A Prayer" in memory of my mother's death. I was promised that everything was in order, however,when I opened the box of food to serve to my guests, it was extremely disappointing. I did not get the white rice I ordered, I did not get the callaloo I ordered, that was 3 large containers each that was not appropriate for the prayer. The egg plant was not dissolved in the potato curry. I am still trying to get hold of the owner to fix this!!

    The BEST!! The very, very BEST!

    I enjoy many dishes from this place and I go all the time. I can't tell you how amazed at how delicious the food is here. Wow!!! It's a take out restaurant but it's just the best. So, so, so filling. And the price, I can't believe the prices. Anyways if you just want to chill and you're in the neighborhood of Bay and King Street West hit up Famous Recipe. I generally get the chicken Roti and he makes it as mild or as spicy as I want depending on my mood.

    Trinidad in Hamilton!

    I love this place!! Some of the best food you can buy eating out in hamilton. Friendly owner who said to me "I get joy out of people enjoying my food" and he was speaking from the heart. He makes everything to your specific taste. How much hot sauce, what kind of gravy, what other sauces you want etc... You can get all kinds of caribbean food here. Even buy the hot sauce that he makes fresh. imported drinks from Trinidad. All kinds of goodies. Very small shop more of a take out joint. Amazing prices for the quality of food you are getting. Great late night deals on friday and saturday. I asked about the famous recipe and it is apparently the roti that they make. My favorite dish is the pumpkin roti or the jerk chicken. lots of roti options. always something new on the menu. I am happy that they moved to town!
