This is one of my favourites in hamilton - fresh salads and vegetables, nicely seasoned meats and wonderful hummus! the prices are very reasonable and the service friendly. I recommend it!
This middle eastern lebanese place continues to surprise me. The food quality is delicious because their food is fresh (plus their secret formula for cooking). I have visited this place only three hundred times or so. I have never been disappointed. They have indeed set their standards high for food quality and also for their services. I will go there again soon.
We had a wonderful dining experience last night we did truly enjoyed it. The service was wonderful, we ordered french fries for the kids it came in quickly which was great for they don't have patience! the timing for the salads and main courses was fair and well organized! we all ate together which was very nice, food was tasty, fresh and well served. The waiters was very friendly, attentive and professional, we all got what we ordered. I would definitely recommend La Luna restaurant based on the service we received last night we'll surly visit again. Hopefully we and all customers that visit your restaurant will experience the great dining experience we had last night.
Food is excellent but the mains are very pricey. Like $22 a main. If you get a sandwich and an appetizer though it's not too bad. If the mains were like $13 it would be a home run!
My next door neighbour where I grew up was Lebanese I ate at her house many times. Therefore I know good Lebanese food and La Luna certainly does not deliver it. Our first and last visit was in Sept 2010.
All the food was over-cooked, dry and tasteless. I nearly choked on the tough chicken pieces. Their minty or dill salad was bruised knife cut-up iceberg lettuce the flavour awful I had no idea what I was eating! All Horrid.
When I complained that the food wasn't good the waitress took it away. She was so arrogant her snarky reply "well other people say it is" my full plate was not deducted from our bill ... we left paying only half the bill and no tip.
Most times that I have frequented this restaurant, I have had a wrap, which I find quite good and rather filling. I recall having a full meal here once, but was not too impressed. I would rather have some good Chinese food! I am not knocking this restaurant. It's just not one of my favourites. I didn't find the servers overly friendly, but that is okay with me. I am not perfect either!
Delicious food freshly prepared. Ask for shish tawook skewer with fatoush salad, hummus, falafel and mushrooms. My wife and I go there regularly and have been doing so for the last 5 years. Very consistent quality and attention to details.
The quantity was good. I somehow got the wrong dish, (but most of the dishes are quite similar anyway!). The food was solid and good but do not expect anything "fancy" here!
I went to the one on Concession st. The food was fantastic! The service was very fast despite the fact that is was very busy. I will definately recommend this restaurant to friends and will be returning myself.
the food was teriffic,so authentic yet with a canadian blend to it that makes it even more apealing to me. the restaurant was busy,but the salads came right away, followed with the appetizers(the hummus is the best),and the the skewers,very tasty.the best midleastern-lebanese food you will have in canada. the staff was very friendly and attentive. I definetly recomend it. I will vist back for sure.
My wife and I wanted something different tonight and thought about getting take out at La Luna. It was a Sunday night at La Luna and when I brought my order home my wife noticed the Tabouli salad HAD onions which we said no too. When we started eating it we noticed small red things throughout the salad. Apparently they forgot to take the red elastic bands off the parsley before they started chopping it. Gross to say the least. I tried calling back several times but nobody has answer the phone. Its like they know I'm calling to complain.
It was great..the food was very tasty, a nice change from the usual franchise food. The service was a bit slow and a bit forgetful but I would still return!
I've been to La Luna a number of times and my experience has always been good. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive, the food is great and the atmosphere is relaxed. I would suggest it to anyone!

First time having Fawook, will definitely do it again. They had a lot of business and so it took a bit to get my take out order, but couldn't complain recognizing that the restaurant was full (which I take as a good sign!)
I frequent this restaurant all the time for lunch, dinner even to pick up a quick snack to take home. I have never, in the seven years of visiting this establishment, had a meal that was not top notch.... wonderful, just wonderful.!!

Not as impressive as I would have liked. Food was for the most part quite good and, for Hamilton, pretty interesting. Chicken, however was dry and cold (tasted like it had been heated in a microwave), and some of the grilled veggies that came with it were somewhat less than appetizing. Atmosphere left a little something to be desired, with somebody sleeping at the table behind us - until somebody complained and he was asked to leave. My biggest qualm was the price. The food was for the most part interesting but, at about $18 for cold, dry chicken, hummous and grilled veggies, the price/quality ratio was not satisfactory. There are better places to eat. Unfortunately, they can afford to charge these prices because there isn't a huge selection of this type of food near downtown. I'll only go back if somebody else is paying.
