Delicious.

One of the best meals I've had in a lonnng time, and definitely the best Mexican meal I've ever had. The place doesn't look like much, but it was excellent and the service was amazing as well. Highly recommended.

Perfection.

This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but the appearance of the restaurant is a little misleading as for the quality of the product here. They serve fresh tortila chips with two different kinds of salsa to start (authentic salsas, not tex-mex grocery store salsa). An excellent start, followed by the tacos we ordered. The pork in the tacos was a perfectly cooked slow roasted pork in the tortilla with a touch of cilantro, onion, and a spicy red salsa. The ground beef ones were prepared in a similar manner, also perfectly prepared. The service was excellent, very friendly. Food took approximately 15 minutes to arrive, but was cooked to order so obviously was very fresh. For Mexican food, this place is pure perfection, and I plan on dining here regularly.

A true gem!

I hope new diners won't shy away from the shabby exerior of the restaurant. Inside you will find friendly if somewhat slow service, although that is explained by the fact that almost all dishes are made from scratch. The flavours are so fresh and genuine. If I wasn't on a diet, I would dine there every week!

Absolutely awesome

Right from the get go this place had us with the super friendly service and smells coming from the kitchen. Our waiter helped us out with the menu as far as knowing what to order and we weren't disappointed. The tacos and quesadillas we had as an appetizer were out of this world. The lamb meat and goat cheese was super tasty. They make everything themselves including the tortillas and their amazing hot sauce. IF you're a hot sauce fan, check theirs out - Habanero and green tomato base. It was so good I bought some when we left. They'd made some fresh in the blender while we were there and brought us tons with our meal. The portions for the food were excellent and everything was extremely tasty. Definitely my best experience in a Mexican restaurant so far.

Superb!

The food was absolutely excellent. Everything is home made and delicious. Atmosphere is also terrific, as is the service. Maybe the best Mexican cuisine in Canada? Highly recommended.
