Pho Dau Bo Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. They are open at night all week. You can get there by public transit and bicycle and visit them in a neighborhood acknowledged as stimulating.
When it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, this place is where you should be. Most of the food is delicious. Generous food portions and very satisfying. Love the spring rolls appetizer! FYI MANAGEMENT: Staff needs improvement. Have not seen anyone of them greeting politely and smiling at you when you come in at the door. Food is great but staff needs training on proper work ethics.
This place is pretty standard. It's not top notch, but neither can I say anything bad about it either.
The prices here are a bit lower than most pho places and the quality is consistent. I've never had a bad experience here ever, which is probably why I've come back so often despite it not being the best of the best.

It's cramped and parking can be tough here. So on a busy day expect to be a bit uncomfortable.
I have been to Pho Dau Bo locations in Kitchener, London, Hamilton and Mississauga. The food is great at all locations, but the service in Hamilton is the worst. They are very busy, so service can be very slow. I also found them rather rude. Like I said, the food was great, but the service was very off-putting.
Pho Dau Bo is one of the best Pho Place in Hamilton area. The location is in downtown and it's easy to find.

They have generous portion for their dishes, so I always order small portion for my Pho. The pho is tasty. The beansprout and basil are always fresh.

Pho was great, some of the best I've had in Hamilton. Good service, fresh ingredients and tasty beef. The fresh spring rolls with prawn was nice and fresh.
This is the best Pho in town, great tea and shakes, soup is amazing, and fast service. Even their wide variety of main dishes are good, especially the Pad Tia. I love their spring rolls.
I like this place for a nice yet cheap lunch or a dinner outing. Also a great "date" place as you can chat while trying new things like tripe or beef tendon in your soup or frogs legs. It's casual and reasonably priced, with the option of getting better at using chopsticks through practice.
Still a classic Pho stop in Hamilton, my friends and I always visit when we're in the area.
Food comes out super fast and hot. The pho is the top dish to have, simple and delicious with lots of sprouts on the side!
Service is prompt and not very interactive, like most pho places. After you get your meal, you go up to pay. No big deal.
Prices are extremely reasonable. You can have a satisfying meal, good and cheap.

The spring rolls here are wonderful. And I love that they are using good quality rice vermicelli in their dishes, it really makes a big difference. They serve ice tea in the summer and the service is relatively quick. One of the better Vietnamese restuarants I have been to.

The restaurant has been renovated lately so the atmosphere was adequate. However, the food wasn't. I found the beef soup was salty, the beef was kind of hard to chew.
Really enjoyed the Pho, the large is huge! Tons of stuff in the pho, no scrimping on the ingrediients. Nice selection on hot sauces on the table and as much green tea as you can drink on your table - hot in winter and cold in summer. Service isn't bad, but isn't great either. Average price. I like the amount of choices on the menu. Definitely one of my favourite Pho place in town, about the only thing I'd really like to see is more parking.

The food is not that bad, the pho's pretty good but since it's a new restaurant, it doesn't have what it takes to be in the long run. In their pho and rice dishes they put too little meat or other important ingridients, comparing to other vietnamese restaurants where you have to ask for less noodles or meat. What's more the fish sauce is too salty in flavor. They screw up orders quite often. This restaurant CAN be better but just not yet.

If you're hungry for Pho then this is the place for you. I found that the large/medium bowls are perfect size to fill a hungry stomach, if you're really hungry then go for the x-large bowls. I feel that their pho is very good and i've been to many pho places.
However, that's all i would recommend is just the pho, i did not get to try the rice dishes. I would NOT recommend any of the appetizer dishes, they're not good or as good as they should be.
This restaurant is definitely worth going to. Quick service, smiles all around and delicious soup. It's the soup that makes the pho afterall. Though, sometimes, when you go, there are even lineups and stuff...but it's worth it.
