the chicken wings were pink inside, the cant. chow main tasted "Burnt" with hardly any noodles..the rice had the same burnt taste, all 3 of us were disapointed. never ordering again.
First and last time I will ever buy from Shanghai!! I should of left as soon as the man at the counter was incredible rude, at first I figured it might of been just a lost in translation type of situation. I was very wrong he was arrogant, rude, and very in patient. I brought the food home to my family and the food was greasy cold and three items were missing. All around terrible experience!!!
Worst Chinese meal ever! Ordered sweet and sour pork and every piece was full of small bones and gristle, it was awful. We threw the whole thing out. The beef curry was okay though very very mild and the chow mein was not too bad. We have had okay meals here before, it isn't our favourite Chinese place but it is near us so handy. But after this last experience we will never go back.
We have been ordering from Shanghi now for three years...always delivered. The food keeps us coming back and the quick delivery service is outstanding. I don't often refer anyone but this is a business I feel confident you and your family will enjoy the food!

My grandmother used to use this place for chinese food and we've used it ever since. I highly recommend this place if you like great food and great service.

1974 was first time I went there, grew up just a few blocks away. Now in my 50's, I go out of my way when I'm in Hamilton just so I can get what is easily the BEST Chinese take out I have had. Service remains great, portions abundant, always fresh & hot.
The food here is always ready on time, always fresh, always tasty. I eat here at least once every two weeks (take out only) and i always like the food. wonton soup is good, large portion. Notable is the egg rolls, they are different than the usual, they don't have the same shape and they are bigger! The service is good. I have no complaints!
Excellent food and excellent service. Great prices and friendly personnel. My husband and I have been ordering from the Shanghai Chinese Food Restaurant since 1991. Excellent menus choices.
