We stopped at the...

We stopped at the Trailside Cookhouse for a burger and fries. They have lots of stuff to put on top of it available. staff were friendly. Food was ok, didn't eat the fries as they were mushy, disappointed for "the best fries in Kearney" as we were told.

Amazing

We are visitors to the area and at 5 pm the only in town place open was the cookhouse. I don't know Keerney that well but after driving around town look for dinner we found this place. There is another place I heard was good but they were not open, I think they were called Iron something? Anyway the Cookhouse was great. The lady was very nice and we had many choices to pick from. We found the food to be great. The other review does not do it justice, they are nothing like what is written, Please go there and make your own choice as to the quality of their food, make up your own mind. Don't listen to this review or any other review just try it for yourself.

We glad you come by Marti. Be sure to check us out again for our daily specials, and remember we the only place open all the time. We happy you found our food amazing. Your right that other review was way off, it has been removed. Come by again and a hot dog is on me.
