The absolute worst fish and chips I ever had in my life and my husband had the burger ... equally as awful. Couldn’t take a second bite of either meal. Shame.

polished and professional

These guys have it all down to an art. The most expensive restaurant in town, but definitely worth the visit for a special occassion. Sort of a small wine list with no French options unfortunately but a beautiful room and a nice experience in all.

FINE DINING WITH A CONTINENTAL FLAIR

This restraurant has had good service and good food for years. We've never had a bad meal and the setting near the water with a patio makes dining there a memorable experience.

I've been to a few fine dining restaurants here and there, but while I was on my vacation I heard about this particular restaurant and decided to make a reservation. It really was amazing, right from the time I first walked in the door, to the time I left. The service was quick, friendly and unlike so many restaurants, really seemed to be enjoying themselves. The decor was fairly simple but really seemed to encompass both the romance of fine dining while staying true to their town's heritage. As for the food, I just can't get over it. The salad was great and looked absolutely beautiful. My steak was cooked to perfection, while the fries were the best I've ever tasted. As for the bouchon, It was the perfect dessert for a perfect evening out with my wife. A sweet, beautiful chocolate dessert that melted in my mouth. We sat on the beautiful roofed patio to watch the sunset while we had coffee, and not once felt rushed in the slightest. It was an unbelievable night out with my wife. I will definitely be eating there again.

We were surprised to discover such a fabulous...

We were surprised to discover such a fabulous Fireside(wood)restaurant. This fine dining restaurant showcases a fresh only daily menu all year long! The food is a tasty fusion between French & Scottish Countryside. The chef uses local & Wild ingredients whenever possible. We also very much enjoyed the thoughtful wine list. We hope to visit again in the summer when we are sailing the waters of Lake Huron. The patio has a rare lake & sunset view that must be out of this world. They aren't kidding when the offer Food, Wine, & A View. Best place We've been to in a long time!
