Van Wart's Your Independent Grocer

I was served by a young man named Keegan at cash/ Costumer service Monday October 8th around 3. While being served, he was being utterly and completely disrespectful towards the other cashiers while costumers were around. Talking and stating words in an inappropriate manner. Nothing that should be said in a work place. He kept yelling over at the girl and guy cashier beside him, both cashiers telling him to stop and stop talking so loudly. It was something that made me not want to come back.

Lazy night unhelpful manager. Awfully Overpriced since no competition until fall 2017 ---but won't get away with it when new grocery store is finished.

I love this store...

I love this store. The management has improved its appearance and overall quality over the past few years, but the family-owened store has always been a favourite among locals for its convenience, prices, garden centre and deli. The only grocery store on the eastern side of the river, it holds key importance for military families' busy lives. It is a local treasure with a family atmosphere that is welcoming in a way that is becoming rare among grocery establishments.

Bennet's is wicked convenient, and has a full range of selection - just like a normal grocery store, but compact and wonderful. Prices are comparable to the major chains, they have a great garden centre, and they employ locals! Their Rotisserie Chickens go on discount at 6pm!
