The food was very interesting. We both ordered dishes that had lots of different things to try. The chicken salad was very good in both, as was the egg salad sandwich. The scones were to die for, as was the lemon curd. The scones come with little butter balls on the toothpicks, which was sooo cute. The whole place was really adorable and beautiful. The alfredo soup was a little heavy, but still good. The melon liquor did not really add anything to the fresh fruit. Still, overall, very good lunch!

A friend and I visited Annabelle's Tea House two weeks ago. We entered past a very attractive gift shop and stepped into the main dining room. It was elegantly appointed wih a good Victorian ambiance and well-dresses linens on the tables. We both chose Chicken Pot Pies which arrived in individual tureens, and were topped with large, splendidly cheesy scones. A good side salad came along side of the pot pies. Our pies had been recommended by a friend, but we found ours to be rather bland, although the ingredients were excellent. The scones were delicious and the salad, tasty. My friend, who had eaten at Annabelle's on other occasions, assured me that other meals she had chosen were delicious. Our meal was improved by the use of salt and pepper, but first impressions were disappointing. A bit more spicing, appropriate to chicken pie, would improve taste from the first mouthful onward. The portions were generous, the service, excellent andattentive without being overly so. The music was pleasant and played at an appropriate level. My tea was very much to my liking. I intend to visit Annabelle's again in the near future with my daughters and son-in-law.

A definate must go to

This is a hidden jem which you will find absolutely wonderful, whether you are celebrating a special occasion, looking for a romantic dinner or just wanting an afternoon tea, you will not be disappointed by choosing Annabelle's. Having been there for a special occasion dinner, we were thoroughly delighted with the menu, prices and attentive personal service we received on a Saturday evening. We never felt rushed or intruded upon at any point and our server was always attentive to our needs. The presentation of our meal was world class and beyond all expectations of a small family owned restaurant such as this. The decor was in timeless antique and the cutlery was vintiage silverware. While not having a large menu, the selections available allow for every diserning palate. The smoked breast of duck was spectacular and the deserts were to die for. Having eaten in exclusive restaurants the world over, we will rate this now as one of our favourites and will not hesitate to recommend this establishment to our friends and collegues. Thank you for the wonderful experience and we will return again and again. A definate 5 star performance!! Paul Battle / Sharlie Greer Kingsville Ontario
