    FANTASTIC!!!

    Far and away the very best Thai food I've ever had. In fact I was never a big asian food fan until I went to Bangkok Cuisine, and now it's my favourite place to eat. I find myself going at least once or twice every single week. My favorite dish is egg noodles with medium chicken and veggies, and possibly the best part is it's actually healthy. Fantastic food, fantastic service, and a very comforting authentic atmosphere. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves Thai!

    Love the spice choices

    In contrast to the previous reviewer, the spice level change happened at least a year ago, and I have found the staff are quite careful to ensure you select correctly. I've also found them quite willing to accommodate my kid's requests to get a smaller plate of something other than the kids menu. Always friendly, the food is always delicious. Hey, we got our pix on the wall for finishing a "top of the line" spice. It was excellent.

    Spice Level Change

    My wife I and went there for our first date as a married couple. Service was terrible – you could tell the waitress didn’t want to be there. What’s worse is that they decided to change the spice levels, so now a “medium” as actually pretty hot. With about four other hotter choices above it, you would expect medium to be a true medium. Really, it’s not a problem if you’re aware of the hotness of the different spice levels, but the waitress made no effort to tell us. Also, they gave my wife my medium, and gave me her mild! We overheard similar complaints about the hotness from the other two groups in the restaurant. Now, I understand that Thai food is hot, but this place doesn’t have chopsticks at the table. There’s a good chance their typical customers aren’t going to be able to handle the hotter spices if they prefer not to use chopsticks. The final annoyance is that when we mentioned it to the waitress, she told us about the change in spices – after we’ve ordered. She made no effort to rectify it and charged us full price for our meals that were half eaten at best. I blame the service, for not telling us about the change or warning us. The food is still really good – I just had it a notch too hot.

    Travelling to the Orient

    I have lived near the Bangkok Cuisine for years but this was my first time trip inside. I found it so authentic without becoming a cliche of an oriental restaurant. Our survice was perfect, attention from our waitress but just at the times when we needed her only. Our Food came out within 10-15 minutes and exceded our expectations in taste and textrure. Everthing had substance, no over cooked veg or noodles, and the flavours were very indepth. We will be returning to this gem as soon as we can. Price was great aswell. Just about every dish is $10.95 with chicken/beef/pork/tofu and $12.95 with shrip/squid/scallope. Can not go wrong with The Bangkok Cuisine.
