Great breakfast spot with top notch service. I have only been to Irene's for breakfast. The restaurant is really small, but the food is great and the service is amazing. I have no complaints about this place at all.

An often overlooked place to eat a decent...

An often overlooked place to eat a decent breakfast, or to pick up some quality fish and chips. My last visit was for breakfast. I had a three egg ham and cheese omelette with toast and hash browns. Good stuff.Food is prepared quickly and comes out fairly fast to the table. Service is good and friendly, if a little rushed at times.I think they could use more staff during busy periods. The place only seats 20-25 people, and at breakfast, is always full. It has a crowded feel to it, and there are usually people waiting at the door to be seated. My second last visit, there was one server working to serve the entire place. Food took almost an hour to get to the table on that visit, but the server was apologetic and was quite friendly. And that was a one time thing. My recent visits have been good and they have regained my business. Food is priced fairly and is good. They have a breakfast special with eggs and toast that is only $3. I return as long as it isn't too busy.

Great little place for breakfast! Very reasonable...

Great little place for breakfast! Very reasonable price, can get a great breakfast ranging from $4 to $8. The Big Breakfast is my favorite! Great omellette's. Only negative comment I would say is that the restaurant is very small, you may have to wait a bit.
