Exceptional

I was craving some Latin food and have passed by here many times while downtown so I decided to give it a try. I went in to order some lunch and was greeted by a very friendly lady who took time to speak with me about options on the menu. Nice Latin music playing but not overly loud so you couldn't hear people you are with. The guacamole is fresh made and is very delicious. The tacos I had were fresh and very tasty. Lots of drink options as well including some very interesting flavours of pop. I'd highly recommend this restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was freshly prepared and delicious.

Try the pupusas

We visited on a Wednesday evening and were the only customers - so we had their full attention. Margaritas were on special - so we were off to a good start. Good Latin food can be hard to find in Southern Ontario, and we have found London has more than it's fair share of good places with authentic flavours. We enjoyed the yucca frita with fresh slaw to start out our meal. The combo dos offered a selection of some of the foods on the regular menu - I'd order the (pork) papusas all on their own next time. A delicious El Salvadorian masa 'pancake' stuffed with your choice of fillings - we had the pork and cheese and weren't disappointed. The tacos al pastor were a spiced mixture of pork and pineapple in proper soft corn (masa) tortillas. The food was very good and we enjoyed our meal and talking with the gentleman who served us. A meal for 2 with drinks was under $60. Located downtown, you have to pay for city parking and/or walk a bit to get there - but we'll be back to try the paella and dessert menu.
