I like this location. The take out is fast and efficient. Better to avoid peak times so you dont have to wait with a crowd. Have eaten in the dining room too and was just fine. I prefer the take out myself - never had a problem with the meals -- and on non peak times without even calling ahead i get it faster than it takes to sit through a drive through for other places. Recommended!
The last few times that we have ordered in we have been really disappointed. The dark meat has been dry and tough. My Son has also found that ordering their food in has been a letdown.
I emailed a complaint and got no response.
If you want to go to Swiss in london, this is the preferred location. Very clean, attentive service, and food is prepared properly. Much better than the other locations in london. I'm just amazed a chain restaurant lets the others in town look so terrible and run down
if you are going to a swiss chalet in london, this location is your best bet. the food is good and the service is above average. lots of free parking and good portion size. stay away from the welling road location

I've always liked the food at Swiss Chalets but rarely did I ever get a flawless experience dining in or ordering out.
This particular location failed considerably one night when I came in just after the dinner rush. Not only were the floors dangerously slipperly (I actually feared walking on it, I'd rather tread over ice!) but the food came out cold and dry. We could tell that what we were served was the day's leftovers. The fries were overdone, brittle, and felt empty. The chicken was so dry I had to order three refills of my drink just to swallow it. The service was equally unimpressive and in fact made me feel a little unwelcomed.
The second time I went faired better, but we were seated right by the bar on "roll up the knives & forks night" making for a very noisy experience. The food was a tad better, but overall I still rate this establishment poorly. I'd rather go across the street any day.
