Always great food and service, today Dino reinforced his amazing customer service. There was a hair in my salad (fist time ever having an issue with my food there) and not only did I get a fresh salad, he tossed the entire trey of salad as a precaution and gave me my money back for my entire lunch.
Dino's is a long standing, family run deli which has stood the test of time for a very good reason...the food is fantastic. From their authentic deli sandwiches to the soups and salads, everything is delicious. Just be sure to bring your appetite because the sandwhiches are so big, 2 people can easily split one and it is more than enough.
My buddy brought me to this place for lunch saying it would be "the best corned beef sandwich I would ever eat" ....... it was OK at best. The corned beef sandwich was LARGE, but the meat was a bit dry for corned beef. And all they offered up in their cooler for drinks was pop, or water. Disappointing.
I had to get out of line and go down the street to ValuMart to purchase a 500ml milk to have with my meal, as that is my drink of choice when I eat anything. I feel as though I should not have had to do that, and that Dino should be stocking it in his cooler. Surely I'm not the only one that enjoys milk with their sandwich! Would have made my experience a lot better, for sure. Aside from that, it is a pretty good place to stop for lunch.
My 16 year old son has been raving about this retaurant for about 1 1/2 years. Since it is unusual for a 16 year old to rave about anything the whole family finally tried this pasta salad.
It was absolutly amazing.
All of the food is fantastic. The atmosphere is unique, the patio is great, not to mention licenced! All the staff are super duper. I love food and love to eat, so I can confirm Dino's great taste and awesome portion sizes as I often get lunch there. This is the place to go. If anyone complains about it, they must be one of those cranky people that you can never please. I give it two thumbs up!
I'm a picky eatter, so the menu was a little lost on me, but the portions were HUGE. Ive never seen a place put so much meat on a sandwich before. Not the cleanest joint, but I'd swing by and order again if it were to go.
Dinos is alwas packed at lunch with good reason! The pasta salad is so good and they are generous enough to also let you ad however many toppings you want on it as well. I recommend red onions, feta, cheddar, tomatoes, and cucumbers, yummy! The sandwich ingredients are always super fresh due to high turnover and on the spot shaving of the meats. They give you so much food that I can get their summer special and make it last for 2 lunches! That is a small pasta and small fruit salad. There is Nothing small about anything you get at Dinos! I only wish they were open later, had a website w/menu and had delivery services for offices...or do they and I just missed it because they have no website? Oh and 1 more thing, real bacon bits on caesar salads instead of fakin' bits!

The food is great and portions large. This order was all my wife & I could eat! I have eaten at Dino's regularly for the past two years. Do yourself a favour and check it out. You won't be disappointed!
I don't know what the above reviewer's problem is!!! Maybe she doesn't understand that there are cultural differences in how expressive people are. I certainly would never compare Dino and Athena to the "Soup Nazi"! They are good friendly people who serve amazing food. The turkey sandwich is the best in town. As for the pasta salad, we are addicted. We go on pasta salad runs, I would eat it every day. At 25 I can't recreate it, I sincerly doubt a ten year old could. If you are coming to Midland please shop at our fabulous "downtown", and while you are there eat at Dino's.
I was disappointed. This place has the worst service. I don't know if its the lack of smiles. greetings, or the plain grumpy looks on the employees faces, but it all culminated into an annoying experience. Its not often I regret handing over my money.
I don't know if they are trying to recreate a familiar Seinfeld spot, if thats so it was the farthest thing from comedic, or if everyone hates their job.
That being said, the food was good, but they have lost their appeal. The pasta salad has way too much mayonaisse, and the soup noodles are overcooked and the broth bland. Good turkey on a kaisar, though you no longer get the pickles on the side.
Used to be people didn't care about the price tag since the sandwiches were huge and the soups and salads delicious, in the absence of delicious, save your pocketbook and make a giant sandwich at home. Even my 10 year old niece makes better pasta salad.
