This place is amazing. It's been around a long time. We've been coming here for over 7 years. I never revew on yp but I am writing this because I looked them up and saw that they needed a little love on here. My entire family loves it. It's our go-to Indian restaurant in Mississauga. I find them to be consistently delicious, friendly and fast. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for an amazing Indian restaurant. Make a reservation. They get busy!

Very poor experie...

Very poor experience. The food is bland and doesn't have the traditional taste as other fine indian restaurants. Service is very slow and staff are trained properly

Poor experience

Bombay Bhel is average or slightly below. I have had too many wonderful experiences in classy Indian restaurants throughout the GTA, Brampton, and Mississauga, and Bombay Bhel definitely does not make the list. The food is unimaginative with lazy shortcuts. For example, chicken biryani which is a slow cooked delicacy of meat, rice, spices and nuts (if authentic and made respectably), at Bombay Bhel is a mix of 10 minute pilaf and butter chicken parading as the real thing. The staff is slow, and disorganized probably because of poor management although you see the owner making his rounds, uncomfortably staring and hovering whilst you eat his mediocre preparations. Really, unpleasant, lazy Indian food.

Decent

Good butter chicken, nice flavours and spice. I like how the meals come with either rice or naan. The okra dish i ordered didn't have the fresh flavour I was looking for, almost seemed to look and taste like a left over. However, I did ask for garlic naan and only got butter, would have been nice to get what I asked for. Friendly staff even for take out.

Consistently Great Food, Inviting Atmosphere

My boyfriend and I dined here for the third time together this evening. Lovely decor and atmosphere and even better, the food. We ordered thali non-vegetarian (my favorite dish), vegetable samosas and shrimp vindaloo. The thali dish is a delightful assortment of many dishes including: rice, salad, lentils, yogurt, tandoori chicken, meat curry, naan, pickled items and rice pudding for dessert. The place is usually packed on weekends, but being a Monday evening, our waiter came by often to ask about our meal and to ensure everything was OK. The owner of the chain even came by to ask us about our meal, a smart thing to do for any owner to show appreciation to his guests. We learned they bake their own naan (its good, but not the best I've had) and that they are associated with the new Bombay Bhel in Vancouver, BC. I finished my meal with a cup of chai, which was served luke-warm and required a packet of sugar to take away the bitterness. Overall, a great meal and more importantly, consistently good.
