i do NOT recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: - food was ok... not that great... just ok Cons: - VERY SMALL PORTIONS ! ! ! - screwed up our order - one dish came when we were finished eating - tables were never clearned of empty dishes - told us they ran out of an item so we'd leave - gave us our bill before we even finished eating - the place needs some upgrades I went there to celebrate mine and my dad's birthday but the entire evening was a huge disaster. i could understand screwing up our order but then not clearning our tables or telling us they don't have any more chicken wings so we'd leave sooner was just unacceptable. the worst was when they brought our bill without us even finishing our dinner. i felt like we were being kicked out. i do NOT recommend this place to anyone. the service was horrible. the food was not that great and was way overpriced. there are so many good places nearby. don't waste your time here.

I came in just around 6:30 on the evening of Good...
I came in just around 6:30 on the evening of Good Friday with my mom and it was very nice and quiet with a few other customers. The atmosphere is fairly cozy though the place could definitely use a modern upgrade. The dining area my mom and I sat in was really cozy sitting at a little side booth with the curtains drawn infront of our booth for privacy which I really appreciated. The food was delicious!!! We ordered a salad (which came with the sushi platter I ordered) which was absolutely delicious (the dressing was phenomenal!), and we also ordered the Miso soup and the Mangdoo soup and they were both so yummy!! I enjoyed them with a platter of sushi enough for one person which was really awesome. For the 2 soups, salad, sushi and tea (one was enough for 2 of us), the bill came up to only $30 and some change! Not expensive at all! Would definitely go back there again for sure!

Best Chinese food!
We have been going to Hoilday Gardens for over 30 years now.....best Chinese food around! Very friendly staff and very accommodating to your needs. Must try it! Decor isn't all up to date but the food makes up for it.

Food was fine but very expensive!!! The place looks rather sketchy and the Christmas lights and boat ornaments have to go! The service was good and the waitress attentive. So if you want sushi in Port Credit, this is your place (your only place actually) so for that it's OK. But for the price, I would just ignore your sushi craving

Got together with family for Mother's Day dinner...
Got together with family for Mother's Day dinner. Order to be picked up. Had to wait extra 30 min. for food and then it was all cold. Go figure!! Noodles were burnt, we requested no waterchestnuts, and there were waterchestnuts in our food, the honey garlic ribs had no sauce and were dry and overcooked, and they made an error in the price and wanted another $10.00. The bill was $196.00. Way overpriced for garbage quality Chinese food. They were not willing to substitute some dishes. Terrible Service. Don't go there!!! I would rate this restaurant a "0" but the computer wouldn't allow it!!

The sushi is amazing, service is amazing! I usually order take-out once a week and dine-in once a month. The servers are very polite and the chef's make a sushi that CAN'T BE BEAT! I don't know why I eat anywhere else! The price is average, but it's worth it! Give it a try

i have never been dissapointed with holiday gardens dodai sushi , i always find there food to be the best , there fish is the freshest fish imaginable and the place is sparkling clean and very very friendly staff are great at serving and treat you like family we go roughly once a week , its that good ,

This is one of my favoutite sushi resturaunts i have ever gone to. My favourite dish was the spicy tuna roll. My favouite apatizer was the edidmamy. dont really know how to spell that but it was the steamed soy beans. Mmmmmmmmm! and the sevice was great too when ever they noticed you where done they would ask"would you like any more?" and that filled my heart with joy.

Good atmosphere. Private booth was a nice touch. Service was very pleasant. Menu offered a wide choice of both Japanese and Chinese fare.
