Plaka has come a long way now with new management. This restaurant is EXTREMELY CLEAN and the food is delicious and home made. Generous portions. There is something for everyone. My favourites are the Chicken Greek salad and the banquet burger. The staff is friendly too!
I work near Plaka. I only go there because I wasn't aware of another restaurant nearby. I went for the first 2 months or so. Their food is not bad, but for the price, I expect better. One thing that turned me off is how cheap they are. They give me a box of fries that goes with the combo. I ask for ketchup and the lady says she put them in there. A whole two packets of ketchup. I find it really distasteful when restaurants try to save money by being cheap on condiments. Then again, it's also COMMON SENSE that you need more than two packets of ketchup to enjoy a box of fries. Staying away from this place if I can help it.
We order a corporate lunch to be delivered from here once every 2 months for over 250 people. Ususally chicken/rice/potatoes/garlic bread. Food always good, received well by everyone. Salad always fresh, plenty of food to go around. Service always top notch!
Walking in, the door was so grimy I made a mental note to not touch my food with the hand that had touched the door. Window sills, window ledges, light switches were all in need of a good cleaning. Stainless flatware seemed worn and suspect as far as cleanliness went. Staff were friendly, but I asked for a glass of water - no one said no but I did not receive one (there are still those of us who believe that tap water is the more environmentally friendly H2O product). Food was tasty but inconsistent - one bite would be super-salted and the next would be okay. There is nothing remarkable about this restaurant and I would not travel 15 minutes on a lunch hour to get there again. We had been trying to go there for about 2 months and it was disappointing.
This is strictly a breakfast and lunch place. The pita was great. The pork, when tasted alone, was very salty but flavourful. The salad dressing appeared to have come from a factory - definitely not homemade - could taste the chemical emulsifiers. My friends had the pork souvlaki dinner and their roasted potatoes were also extremely salty.
Brought sales team for lunch, they had a tablr resrved for us, the food was ready on time and was great. Best greek food ever
Excellent food incredible staff very polite, service fast. Restaurant was very clean, nice looking place for lunch. I will definalety go back and tell all my friends about it.
Incrediable place for breakfast, fast service very friendly. Family run restaurnant and it shows. Would visit again very soon.
