Wow ! What a great place to eat and have a good time. The food was delicious and and restaurant is beautiful now ! I was here for a party last week we had so much fun. They had music, people danced , great singer !! Our waiter made us laugh and is really good looking too . Last time i was here was 8 years ago and place looked kind of old fashioned and not well kept. Now they made changes in every way and I have to admit this restaurant is better than most in every way. You gotta go to Villa Risi !!!
Once again I find this restaurant excellent in every way. Our meals were fantastic. Pasta cooked al dente just like we requested and great portion sizes. The entertainment was so good and the atmosphere and service were more than satisfactory to our party. I still have not found another restaurant that has great food, entertainment and dancing . Villa Risi is really unique and worth frequenting.
My parents and I went for my mother's birthday, I had okay chicken Alfredo and my parents had good chicken. Then we booked it for my mother's retirement dinner with over 40 people in their party room. It wasn't as good. The staff seemed cold but fine, it's the food that was the problem. The salad was over dressed with a very garlicy dressing, then was a beautiful pasta with rose sauce, then a chicken parmesan that we couldn't cut through. The atmosphere and décor was beautiful, but hearing the people around complaining about the food brought down my mother's night a bit for me. Can't talk about price as I don't know what it was. So in all, the food is not consistent
Excellent . My boyfriend and I went to Villa Risi with friends of ours and celebrated my birthday . i hadnt been here in years and WOW ! what a beautiful job they did redecorating and the food was outstanding. We had the Caesar salad (best caesar dressing ive ever tasted), Veal Marsala, fettucine alfredo, and our friends had the stuffed chicken and grilled salmon and everything was so delicious, fresh tasting and great portion sizes. They had a 3 piece band playing and people dancing, it was so much fun.
We are new to the area and were looking for somewhere to celebrate the baptism of our daughter. We found Villa Rissi online, and though we were skeptical of trying a new restaurant we were pleased with the menu we viewed online and decided to try it out. The food, service and overall staff was fantastic we were very pleased with our decision and would highley reccomend Villa Risi.
All guests were also pleased.

I celebrated my 40th birthday with with some friends last weekend and we had a fantastic time. The food was superb. The service was excellent. The wait staff was warm attentive and curteous. The owner and his wife went out of their way to make sure all my guests were comfortable. The way they treated us made us feel like we were right at home. To top it all off. They have live entertainment with a piano player and a girl singer. They were excellent. They were so versatile and played almost every style of music you can think of. We ate great ! We drank good wine ! And we danced the night away!
I live Toronto and boy, you don't see any restaurants that can accommodate almost any venue. We will definately be back very soon. Thanks to the owners and staff of Villa Risi.
Such a wonderful evening had by all. Food was excellent - not one complaint at our table of 8. Personally had Cream of Broccoli soup (to die for), caesar salad and veal marsala - all wonderful. Our table staff was both informative and efficient , as well as very friendly and outgoing. The decor is rather typical of old world italian and very relaxing. Since we went on a weekend there was live entertainment (consisting of a piano player & a singer) who were absolutely marvellous (that girl could sing professionally!!) and ended the evening much later than expected on the dance floor. An absolutely lovely experience deemed to be repeated often!!!
Gordon Ramsey would have a fit if he saw this place. The decor is out of the 80's and the food seemed to have been cooked earlier and heated through - pasta was stodgy, lemon chicken's sauce was nasty with a gluey, floury taste. I have eaten lots of Italian food (including in Italy) and this is the worst I have ever had. Don't be seduced into thinking that all Italian restaurants will produce good food - this was the worst I have ever had and I will not go back
terrible in a word - scowling waitress, kraft casear salad, pasta that clearly was rewarmed, seafood that was partially frozen - much better choices in the area - stay away

I ordered the Linguine Pescato.... After waiting for 45min my food arrived. Another 6 min later the owner came over with the Scallops and mentioned that they forgot to put them on. I cut open the scallops and they were still frozen. That is not acceptable... but did not make big fuss return them. They came back, with tomato sauce on then this time and sliced open.. lets just say I did not take the chance to eat them this time.
Service was good, but serving frozen seafood not really something I will going back for.
Have been a customer here for years and years. Have been continually disapointed time and time again since they did their renovation, not sure if they changed chefs or what. After my final disapointment, i have decided not to eat there again.

My wife and I wanted to go out for a belated Valentines dinner, and after doing a little restaurant-hopping, we stopped in at Villa Risi. We are so glad the other restaurant was closed, as the experience we had at V-R was "second-to- none". From the maitre d' to the wine steward to our waitress, we were made to feel as though we were part of their family. The food was great and the price was right. Thank you. We'll be back with our family.
