I've been coming to wimpys newmarket for years! It is the best wimpys I have been to. The waitresses are friendly and great you as soon as you walk in the door, they are quick and constantly cleaning. The food is great, huge portions and always give you the bang for your buck!
I've met the owners on many occasions, they come around to make sure you are enjoying your meal. This location has had the same owners since they've opened. Leslie and Annette have been serving me for 8 years now at least.
I've never had a problem with my food, it's always fresh and delicious. Homefries are fresh, never deep fried at this location. You can tell a lot of love goes into this place.
I have eaten at Wimpy's in the past when it first opened and it was great!!! Now it seams run down and the luster and the food and service quality is gone too.Perhaps the price sould be brought down to reflect the food .Wont be back there is way to much competition out there for you to run a restaurant this way.
Probably the best diner i have ever visited, service was great and food was amazing. I read the other comments on this board and these people obviously dont know what they are talking about, this location was very clean very organised, the food was very tasty and fresh, and the visit was very pleasant. After a year of convincing my GF convinced me to go to Wimpy's Diner. We both ordered the wimpy's 'giant' burger.
I was expecting a homemade patty, huge and delicious.
I got one of those frozen patty grilled, and then slapped onto a bun with you average pickles, kind of ripe tomatoes, mustard and relish, with onions. IT WAS SO GREASY, My plate had grease drippings all over it, and it tasted like any other precooked frozen patty out there. Definitely nothing special.
The service was nice the waitress treated you like home, but unfortunately the food was lackluster, mind you the onion rigs were good, but if you mess those up, then you might as well close down the restaurant anyways.
EXCELLENT all around. Went back after being unsure about whether or not wanted to. Waitress, Celine, was impeccable. I thoroughly enjoyed my Shishkebob. FIrst time I ordered it at Wimpys. Daughter enjoyed her hamburger and hubby and friend enjoyed their dinner too.
I'm impressed. I was greated at the door by a waitress with a huge smile. The coffee was brought right away. HOT and it was great tasting coffee. Our food was wonderful. The potatoes were real potatoes not deep fried hash browns and my breakfast was only 3.99.
Top rate service, quality and the staff was wonderful. Our coffee's were never empty and we were treated great. Can't wait to go back.

I went for lunch and had the burger combo. My buddy was always telling me about the size of it and I didn't believe him. It was giantic. I didn't finish my meal. My waitress packed it up and I had it for dinner. It was just as good then. I think I'll make the drive up not only for the food but my pretty waitress too.
I love this place. My husband and I have been coming for almost 10 years now for breakfast. The owner is always there, he treats us like part of his family. Every time he sees us at the door he greets us by name and comes. When where done our meal, he always comes to our table to ask how everything was. He treats us with such respect that we keep going back for not just the great food but also for him.

We didn't have to wait long, the waitress was always coming back to make sure we were well taken care of and when the food was brought, we thought they were joking. The food was hot, fresh and amazing. We'll be back its our new favorite place.
My friend and I stopped in for lunch. We had great service and a very friendly server. Both of our portion sizes were huge. i think the server said the jun.burger was 6oz. I can only imagine how someone eats the Wimpy burger it's 10ozs....... I was reading another customers complaint about portion sizes.......how can you still feel hungry after 10oz of meat with a bun and all the trimmings plus fries and a drink..........yuck!i think you need to be more realistic.
Fantastic! The Club sandwich was huge and was made with real Turkey Breast instead of that deli crap. The Bacon and Eggs were hot and the eggs were cooked perfectly (no brown crust around the egg whites). And the western sandwich was delicious according to my wife. Great food! Great Service!
Fantastic. Food, service, price. Everything was fantastic. I don't know what all these negative reviews are all about? Maybe they are disgruntled ex-employees, or the competition from accross the street. But they are completely WRONG. I don't think there is a place that does a better breakfast in the city. Or there burgers, by far the tastiest patty I have ever tried. Officially my favorite restaurant.
Great Experience. The breakfast was hot, and great portions. I ordered the Omelette and the I was happy to get real potatoes instead of the deep fried homefries served everywhere else. The club was made with real turkey breast and the burger was huge. The waitress was pleasant and the food was ordered and served to our table in less than 15 minutes. Great Experience!
