If you want a cracking foundation, hire Cotton.

We had our foundation done by Cotton. Since our home was built we've developed three foundation cracks. The first one Cotton came out to look at and said it happened because the wall is so long. To me that means that they cannot judge the strength or thickness needed to support the wall. Then in the next few years we developed two more foundation cracks on a very short wall. So regardless of the type of wall, the Cotton foundation will crack within five years.
