A horrible place to stay

A big mistake I did 1 week back was to not look at reviews of this hotel before deciding to stay here. Just like what many of the reviews on tripadvisor.ca suggest, this hotel totally lives up to that BAD reputation. Seriously, I have no idea how they are still in business. A couple of friends and I bought a voucher using which we stayed at this place on the 9th of December. Some of the many observations were: a very untidy room, stained sheets and a heater which blows cold air (even when put to max heat level). The room was so cold that we ended up sleeping in multiple layers of clothing!! Overall, I would say that this is the worst place to stay. I hope people don't make the same mistake as me and my friends did. PLEASE CHECK RATINGS AND REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING A DECISION TO STAY ANYWHERE

WORST MOTEL EVER!!!

I decided to stay at the Lincoln Motor Inn with a couple of my friends last weekend (Dec 9-10, 2011). I have been to many hotels/motels in my life and this was honestly the WORST place I have ever been to! The pictures on the website makes the place look very attractive but the reality is that there was no heating in our room (even after cranking the heat up all the way), the bed and sheets were stained and there was food crumbs all over the place and a random sock in our room (obviously they don't do a good job cleaning!). Please check the ratings of this place on tripadvisor.ca before staying here. You will notice that most people had a similar experience to what I had! In addition to this, they charge you $9/day for parking. The only good thing about this place was the location and the staff was pleasant (they offered me a full refund) but the overall experience of staying in this room is JUST NOT WORTH IT!!!

Great Location, Clean and Good Price

The Lincoln Motor Inn was very inexpensive, although we did stay during the off season (in October). The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the room was clean. They had wireless internet. It is within walking distance of the falls, casinos, restaurants and clubs. We were satisfied with our stay although we did have some loud neighbours and the water running in other rooms could be quite loud. It had the usual motel perks (hairdryer, ice machine, etc). Good choice for anyone looking for a clean and well priced place to stay.
