When a person ends up in the career they were destined for, the signs were often there in their younger years. Such is the case for Arpad Komjathy, the founder of ArpadWEALTH, a financial company in Toronto that helps people make their money multiply.

“My parents had a farm,” says Arpad, “and when I was a teenager, they told me that if I worked on this plot of land, whatever I grew, they would sell it for me on the market.” The enterprising teen picked celery stalks as his crop and soon moved on to raising rabbits.

“We sold it on the market,” he continues, “I got some money; I saved the money; I put it in my wallet.” It wasn’t long before Arpad discovered he had a gift for growing money, along with a passion for helping people, and he decided to start his own business.

Arpad got started with a mortgage business in 2003. After talking with his clients and examining his own passions he saw that the next logical step would be to branch out into life and health insurance, investments and financial planning. So — as he had with his rabbit-raising venture — Arpad started on a new path and created ArpadWEALTH in 2006.
