When you need to satiate your inner warrior.

The Mongolian Grill is the best all-you-can-shove-down Asian eatery in Don Mills. The concept is simple: you pick out your own ingredients for a stir-fry from a wide selection and the chefs cook it on what is probably the biggest cooking surface in the GTA. OR, you can graze at the buffet that has pretty traditional items, nothing special. The grill is the way to go, the buffet is boring. Everything wilts or shrinks when it is exposed to the heat, so fill up two bowls Stay away from the peperoni and spaghetti nodles, this ain't East Side Marios. It is usually busy at lunch but things seem to move along nicely. Everything is fresh and the variety of ingredients borders on the absurd. If you get a bad meal, you only have yourself to blame since you chose the ingredients. Grab a bowl and try again, this time avoid the pepperoni, it's not meant to be stir-fried. The decor is fine for what it is and the table service is good. This location is almost empty for supper. The price is up by four or five bucks but shrimp now makes an appearance. If you are looking for something different but still Asian cuisine, give this place a try, I don't think you can go wrong.

Excellent every time, go back constantly

Although it's quite the long drive for us, my family and I go back here regularly. I even had my birthday dinner here! The service is poor and getting a refill can be hard, but you're seated promptly and the food is excellent. Lunch is a great value, but dinner has its appeals -- like better seafood variety and a chocolate fondue fountain. I order the bubble tea every time, it's great. Just ask for it without ice, otherwise they put so much ice there's hardly any DRINK in the glass. Despite it's few flaws, the excellence of the food makes up for everything. Go try it out, you won't be disappointed.

The food here is excellent and fresh, lots of selection. Aside from the plentiful raw foods available to be stir-fried, there is also a decent sized buffet with the usual chinese fare available. Service can be a little lackluster, can sometimes take quite a while before a drink shows up and it can be hopeless waiting for a refill.

We visit this place regularly. We really enjoy it - much cheaper for lunch and even though dinner has more options (mainly seafood options) we find lunch is a better value.

The Mongolian Grill not only offers quantity but quality! A sort of DIY stir-fry, customers select their ingredients and then hand them over to the trained staff which cooks their selections to perfection. The restaurant is quite spacious and decorated with Northern Chinese tapestries. It also has a DIY halo-halo that is a must-try!
