Mandarin Ny

Encountered disrespectful and discourteous staff while waiting to be seated. I guess it's difficult finding good help these days. Always enjoyed the Mandarin. Things there seem to have changed. Some poor staff can ruin what should have been a pleasant family meal.

I went to have lunch a month ago at Mandarin North York I always visit the Mandarin at Yonge and Eglinton however I found out that the one on NORTH YORK belongs to a different owner. I had two small plates of food and my regular meals usually are very healthy, however not sure what happened but after 4-5 hrs I got very sick & throw up 28 times and ending at the doctors, WORST EXPERIENCE ! I noticed that place is not as clean even washrooms or behind bar, AVOID TO GO THERE if you dont wI

Food was great and service was good.

Never patronise this place us again. Our take out order had chicken livers instead of chicken. Who knows what they could serve next time. Their head office is useless as we sent numerous e mails that they copied the restaurant with. None of our friends or family will be there ever again.

We always go here its my father's favourite Mandarin. We've always had exemplary service. The hosts and wait staff are always extremely friendly and helpful.. The food is excellent and is always fresh. I've never had a bad experience here.

I have my favorite chinese buffet which is not Mandarin, however, since this buffet is quite popular I've decided to try them the other day, and I must say I'm not really impressed either with their foods or their service. Foods they serve are, I think, below average compared to any other chinese restaurant in Toronto. Personally, their sushi corner really sucks. I don't think they should have sushi section there. Not many people even touch their sushi so most of sushi and rolls are just seating there for a long time, but I didn't find anyone even replaced those sushi at all. Even other chinese foods were too americanized. I'm just wondering how this big franchise buffet have gotten so popular here.

Excellent food however............ If your are a Senior age 65+ and forget to bring your photo I.D. with you,expect to be turned down flat for the Seniors 20% Discount (no exceptions). I only wish Mandarin made mention of this when they accepted the reservation.

Consistently Awesome!

The food is excellent, always fresh and an amazing variety to choose from. I ordered takeout once and it wasnt really the same, but very affordable and still good. The ever-present lineup and the full parking lot are pretty good indicators of this place's quality and popularity.

People when you go there eat till you're stomach...

People when you go there eat till you're stomach or else the next day u wake you say : " I wish I could it more of that strawberry mousecake or that grilled jumbo shrimp" ....It was so nice when you come in they hit that chinese round flat drumb that's like "bowwwwww" and they say " Hi, welcome to Mandarin" really ice customer service !! When I walked out they gave me a mint like candy !! good ! like most high quality resto they give you the hot towel and the luck cookie!
