Sunshine Spot has been the best breakfast in town for 10 years and counting! It was founded in 2003 and has been open for ten years, with three locations. Our first location opened in North York (Leslie and Shepperd), and we have now expanded to two other branches located in downtown Toronto (Young and St.Clair) and in Markham (Woodbine and Hwy 7). Blown away - best chicken club ever!

Tried this place out because of the mostly great reviews, and I agree. Best chicken club I've ever been served, home fries were REAL - DONE ON A GRILL, and were delicious, a pleasure to wait for. The bacon this restaurant uses is amazing, not salty or greasy, fantastic. The chef was surprisingly young (20's), but sure knows his way around a grill, and old-style/old school cooking. I couldn't finish my club (very rare for me). The place is not fancy and the chairs are hard/uncomfortable, but maybe they don't want people sitting around too long? Will definitely be going back here as a go-to spot -- you can dine here with confidence!

Best food at reasonable price

They have very good combination of food selections like French connection with French toast, bacon, sausage and eggs, Protein breakfast with juicy chicken or steak with house salad. They have so many choices in Eggs benedict, but we had steak benedict, veggie benedict and Smoke salmon and spinach benedict. They are making best sauce for the eggs benedict. I had fifty fifty omelette. It was delicious, I wanna have it again. I would strongly recommend anybody to taste their omelettes . Price was very reasonable in town.

This resteraunt was fairly dirty. The waiters...

This resteraunt was fairly dirty. The waiters were handling cash and food at the same time. We were disatisfied the way they served our drinks and food. The waiters were grabbing on to the top of the glasses without a tray. One waiter had her hand holding the pouring part of the coffee pot. Our table was not wiped down before we ate, and the service was "rude". The food was decent until one of us found a small black hair in the French Toast. GROSS!! They were wearing baggy shirts and did not have proper hair protection. When one of us had no toast with the eggs, we asked for some, but were charged. Aren't Eggs so possed to come with toast??? Handled money and charge cards, then served food. Overall this resteraunt was greasy with a gringy smell in the air. If you are looking for a clean Canadian breakfast, do not come here... You will be grossed out.
